4 Days 3 Night, Imagine enjoying a mesmerising sunset at Uluru while sipping on sparkling wine. Follow this up with a sunrise at the breathtaking Kata Tjuta as your guide takes you through a journey of discovery spanning stunning valleys and canyons. You will come away from this journey having learned all about the geology, history and culture of the heart of Australia.

After an early morning departure from Alice Springs, travel in comfort in our air-conditioned vehicle to Ayers Rock Resort. Take in the rugged desert landscapes of the region, passing through the beautiful MacDonnell Ranges. While travelling through this remote country, your Driver Guide will provide informative and entertaining commentary. Learn about the natural and geological history of the region, as well as the unique Australian desert flora and fauna such as the Perentie, the Thorny Devil and the Red Kangaroo. Stop at a local Roadhouse for a quick break and then see Atila (Mt. Conner) in the distance as you travel through Curtin Springs Station before arriving at Ayers Rock Resort, relaxed and ready to explore the amazing World Heritage-listed Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park.
This afternoon, enter Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park for an afternoon of discovery. Visit the Cultural Centre where you’ll have time to explore the galleries and you may be lucky enough to see local Aboriginal Artists at work. Travel to the base of Uluru where you’ll be amazed as your local guide shares the Aboriginal Tjukurpa (creation) stories that breathe life into this giant formation. Feel the spirit of the land as your guide takes you on a walk to Mutitjulu Waterhole, interpreting the meaning of the ancient Rock Art and sacred sites you’ll see along the way. With plenty of time, travel to the Uluru Sunset Viewing Area where you can relax with a sparkling wine while you enjoy a famous Uluru sunset. Witness the incredible changing colours as the sun sets below the horizon.

After indulging in the unforgettable experience of the iconic Uluru bathed in the warm glow of the setting sun, continue to our exclusive dining venue for a unique Aussie BBQ experience. Savour a delicious Outback BBQ, featuring fresh, locally sourced ingredients, sparkling wine, freshly prepared salads and a tasty dessert. Enjoy stargazing under the clear landscape free from artificial lights, with your guide conducting a tour of the night sky, pointing out constellations and explaining Aboriginal star stories.

This morning travel to the spectacular Kata Tjuta. On the way, enjoy panoramic views of the southern side of Kata Tjuta at a dune viewing platform before arriving at Walpa Gorge. Spend some time exploring the gorge and the unusual conglomerate rock formations. The 1.3km walking trail through Walpa Gorge follows the natural creek between two of the tallest domes of Kata Tjuta. Return to Ayers Rock Resort where the afternoon is free for you to relax or you might choose add on an Optional Experience like a scenic helicopter flight, Sounds of Silence Dinner or Wintjiri Wiru.


This morning you may choose a relaxed start or join the Sunrise Field of Light tour, an Optional Experience*, travelling through spectacular desert scenery from Ayers Rock Resort. Pass through Curtin Springs Station and view Atila (Mt. Conner) as your Driver Guide shares insights into the history of surrounding cattle stations, keeping an eye out for wild horses and camels along the way. Arrive at Kings Canyon Resort with time to unwind before a spectacular sunset, where in peak travel months drinks are available to purchase at the viewing area, then later, experience the breathtaking Light Towers by artist Bruce Munro.
Optional Experience : Field of Light Sunrise
This morning you you'll be driven the short distance to the exclusive Field of Light location. with light morning snacks
Rise early to make the rocky climb to the rim of the canyon for marvellous views of Watarrka National Park at sunrise. Follow the rim of the canyon stopping to look down into the canyon gorge at look-out points. Time permitting, you may choose to descend into the green oasis of the 'Garden of Eden'. The circuit walk takes approximately 3 hours to complete and is rocky and steep in parts. It is recommended for those with a very good level of fitness. Alternatively, you may wish to take an easier, shorter walk to explore the boulder strewn canyon floor.

You will board your coach to travel to Alice Springs. Along the way stop at Erldunda, a classic Northern Territory Roadhouse located at the junction of the Stuart and Lasseter Highways. Travel along the Stuart Highway before arriving in Alice Springs.
Day prior: Flights to arrive anytime into Alice Springs Airport (SBUKK) If joining the tour from Alice Springs, please stay overnight in an Alice Springs city hotel the night before departure.
Day 1: Pick up from Alice Spring Hotel 7.00am or If joining the tour via a flight to Ayers Rock Airport (AYQ), we recommend booking a flight arriving before 12:30 pm to allow sufficient time for the 01:00 pm – 01:30 pm airport pick-up service.
Day 4: Flights to depart after 8.00pm from Alice Springs Airport

Fitness Requirements
High level of fitness required for the Kings Canyon Rim Walk. This 6km hike will not be suitable for all guests.
The first 30-minute incline is considered “Difficult” and the hike takes at least 3 hours.
The Driver Guide will offer guest an easier alternative along the creek walk for those that are unable. You must wear sturdy walking shoes. You won’t be permitted on the Rim walk in shoes with heels, sandals, flip-flops or open toe shoes.
