Reefsleep is a two-day/one-night encounter with the Great Barrier Reef – an intimate, once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to sleep under the stars. Exclusive Reefworld at Hardy Reef is your destination – a permanently moored pontoon, located 39 nautical miles from shore on the outer Great Barrier Reef. Swim, snorkel, dive and explore this amazing natural ecosystem.

HIGHLIGHTS

Your journey begins with a cruise to the outer reef through the gorgeous Whitsunday Islands – keep an eye out for migrating Humpback Whales between July and September. Out on the reef, go swimming and snorkelling, ride in a semi-submarine and visit the underwater observatory – followed by a generous buffet lunch. Optional upgrades include guided snorkel safaris and scuba-diving.

After the day-trippers head back to shore, the pontoon and the reef are exclusively yours. Enjoy a sunset drink before your evening meal is served on deck, featuring fresh and delicious local produce. Afterwards, head for the pontoon’s top level and slip into your cozy Reefbed– it’s just you, the ocean and a galaxy of stars.

Dawn on the reef is peaceful and unhurried. There’s time for some more snorkelling after breakfast – the reef is all yours to enjoy – or return to the underwater observatory and watch the reef come to life. The Cruise Whitsundays Reefworld pontoon is adjacent to coral walls, the length of which you can explore by snorkelling as much as you like during the day! It has its own ecosystem with magnificent corals and a diversity of marine life found only in sheltered areas. The Hardy Reef is a unique world for you to explore and the prolific fish life will surprise and delight you especially… the Giant Groper!

Starlit Alfresco Reefbeds

The only outdoor sleeping vessel in the Whitsundays, Reefsleep offers guests their very own alfresco, luxury Reefbed! With a clear viewing panel, soft linen and a super comfy mattress, fall asleep under a clear starry sky while enjoying the gentle sea breeze! Underwater Observatory

Reefworld Pontoon 

Spend your day aboard the Reefworld pontoon with access to an abundance of things to do, whatever your style! Grab a good book and champagne and hit the day beds for a sunbake chill-out session. With all the delicious meals provided, enjoy a scrumptious buffet lunch and dinner with good company too! Don’t forget to keep an eye out for sea turtles that come to nibble at the seaweed around the pontoon as dusk falls… pure magic!

    晚上真的很安靜，抬頭就是星空，完全沒有城市的聲音。
