• Currency: The quoted prices are in Australian dollars (AUD).
• Minimum Stay: Special peak season requires a minimum stay of 5 nights: April 6-11, 2023, and December 20-31, 2023.
• Buffet Breakfast: Daily buffet breakfast is available from 6:30 am to 9:30 am.

Child Fee Information:

• Infants (0-2 years): Free if not occupying a bed throughout the itinerary.
• Children (3 years): $30 if not occupying a bed, itinerary is free. No breakfast included. Additional $12 per child per day for buffet breakfast (4-12 years).
• Children (4-6 years): $292 including daily breakfast, round-trip airport transfers, and a full-day Great Barrier Reef tour with Whitehaven Beach half-day tour. Children who occupy a bed are required to stay with at least 1 adult.

Mirage Whitsundays Resort Stay Information:

• Front desk operating hours: 8:30 am to 6:00 pm. For emergencies outside of these hours, please contact the on-site manager.
• Housekeeping: Apartments are self-contained, and a full cleaning service is provided once every 4 nights of stay. Daily cleaning can be arranged at an additional cost. Guests can wash towels using the in-room washing machine or request new towels and toiletries from the front desk.
• Hotel amenities: The resort does not provide toothbrushes, toothpaste, or slippers for environmental reasons. Guests are advised to bring their own. However, if guests run out of toiletries or other household items during their stay, they can request a reasonable amount from the front desk.
• Kitchen and laundry facilities: All room types include kitchen facilities (fridge, stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher, cookware) and laundry facilities (washing machine, dryer). Guests can use the laundry facilities for washing clothes and towels.
• Cooking in the room: Guests are reminded to turn on the range hood when cooking in the kitchen to avoid triggering the smoke alarm. If the smoke alarm is triggered, guests will be responsible for any firefighting expenses incurred.
• Supermarket: Guests who wish to cook in their rooms can purchase groceries from Coles supermarket located 800 meters away from the resort (approximately a 10-minute walk) or take the complimentary resort shuttle.
• Complimentary shuttle bus: The resort provides a free shuttle bus service to and from the main street of Airlie Beach, the nearest Coles supermarket, and the resort. The shuttle operates twice daily at 10:30 am and 2:30 pm, no reservation is required.
• Breakfast and dinner: Breakfast is included in the accommodation cost and is served as a buffet from 6:30 am to 10:00 am. Guests can request a breakfast box for early departures. Children aged 0-12 years who do not occupy a bed can have breakfast for an additional $12.5 per child per day. Dinner is served from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm at the resort's restaurant.
• Payment methods: The resort accepts WeChat Pay and Alipay without any transaction fees.
• Check-in and check-out: Check-in time is from 2:00 pm, and check-out time is until 10:00 am. Guests can enjoy free Wi-Fi and parking throughout their stay.
• Beach towels: Beach towels (blue and white) are provided in the rooms for guests to use during their excursions. Guests are advised not to take the white towels from the bathroom. New beach towels can be obtained from the front desk during working hours.
• Taxi reservation phone number: 131008. During working hours, the front desk can assist guests in calling or booking taxis. The typical taxi fare from the resort to the city center is around a dozen Australian dollars. If there are more than 4 people traveling together, a larger vehicle called a maxi taxi will be required, and the price will be 1.5 times that of a regular taxi.
• Late arrivals & Walk-in bookings: Welcome to Mirage Whitsundays, a dreamy resort in the Whitsunday Islands. Please note that after 18:00, the resort gate and front desk are closed. The front desk operates from 8:30 am to 18:00 pm. If you arrive after hours, follow the late arrival check-in procedure.
• Your room key, check-in instructions, and resort map will be placed in an envelope in the mailbox on the left side of the main gate.
• The envelope will be placed in one of the mailboxes labeled from A to J, and each mailbox has its own unique 3-digit code. If you have informed us in advance about your late arrival, our staff will notify you of the mailbox number and its corresponding code via phone or email. Simply locate your designated mailbox and enter the code to open it. For example, if you receive the mailbox code B-534, you need to find mailbox B and manually set the code dial to 534 (use the code provided to you). Then, you can open the mailbox.
• Late arrival check-in procedure after 6 pm:
• Late arrival check-in procedure, continued: 3. Once you open the envelope, you will find your room key (which can be used for the resort gate, your unit door, and your room), and the resort map showing the nearest route to your room. Follow the map instructions to reach your assigned building.
• On the left side of your unit door, you will see your room number, which should match the room number on your room key. Use any of the room keys to swipe on the black sensor panel, and pull the unit door open. Proceed to the corridor and take the elevator to your floor.
• Accessing apartments: To access your room, swipe your room key on the black sensor located on your room door. A green light indicates successful access, while a red light indicates an invalid key or a wrong room. In such cases, please contact the on-site manager at the resort (07 4948 1940).
• Once inside the room: 6. To activate the air-conditioning and lights, insert the room key into the slot just inside the front door.
• Please note that as late arrival guests, you were not able to complete the check-in process and provide a $200 credit card pre-authorization at the front desk during working hours. Therefore, your room key is set to be valid only for the night. We kindly ask you to visit the front desk on the following day during working hours to complete the check-in process and have the front desk staff reset the validity of your room key. Thank you for your cooperation.

What to Bring: 

• Swimmers
• A beach bag with a towel, hat and shoes.
• A jacket during winter to protect you from wind and for warmth after snorkelling.
• Cameras in a waterproof case or Tupperware.
• Cash for water, soft drinks, fruit juices and chocolates for sale on board.
• Everything you need for the day as you will not return to your accommodation between tours.
