Mt Tamborine sits on the northern edge of a massive volcanic caldera formed 22 million years ago by the Mount Warning eruption. In 1908, the Witches Falls section of Tamborine became Queensland’s first national park. Today, the park spans over 11 square kilometres and is a biodiversity hotspot.
