Roar and snore Overnight Glamping Tour 2D1N (Click)

Camp in safari style tents in the zoo and enjoy the spectacular views of Sydney Harbour. Guests will enjoy refreshments and nibbles at our beautiful harbour-side campsite. After settling into tents, guests will enjoy a delicious buffet dinner before a walk through the zoo on a night safari – an opportunity to experience the zoo with only an small group of fellow Roar & Snore guests. Guests can wake up to the noises of the animals greeting the day followed by a continental breakfast and two exclusive interactive keeper experiences.

INCLUDES:

  • Meals: refreshments on arrival, buffet style dinner, dessert and light breakfast. A variety of beers, wines, soft drinks, juices, tea and coffee at the site are included.
  • Accommodation (sleeps maximum 4pax, Maximum of 3 Adults per tent): Tents have either a double bed or a double bed and single bed. Trundle beds available upon request. The tents have power supply, electric lighting and in the cooler months heated blankets are provided.

Ferry

  • Taronga Zoo is 12 minutes from Circular Quay by ferry. Sydney ferries services depart Circular Quay every 30 minutes
  • Captain Cook Cruises operate the Zoo Express and the all day hop on, hop off services which departs daily from Circular Quay
  • Fantasea Cruising operates a zoo direct all-day hop-on and hop-off Harbour Hopper from Darling Harbour (Aquarium Wharf) and Circular Quay Wharf 6 - You can select zoo ticket + ferry Combo for this 
  • You can enter the zoo through the iconic heritage gates at the main entrance at the top of the zoo, or the lower zoo entrance which is a 3-minute walk from the Taronga Zoo ferry wharf. Buses also connect the ferry wharf and lower zoo entrance with the top entrance.

Please note: Transport NSW upgrades are now complete. Ferries will run as normal.

Bus

  • The 100 Bus (Mosman to City) operates between Mosman (Taronga Zoo Sydney) and the Queen Victoria Building in the city from early morning until around midnight, seven days a week. Buses will run every 10 minutes across the day and at least every 20 minutes in the early morning and late at night.
  • The 238 bus route travels between Balmoral Beach, the Taronga Zoo Sydney main entrance and the Taronga ferry wharf on the water's edge for passengers arriving or leaving by ferry

School Holiday Shuttle Bus

A free Taronga shuttle will operate during school holidays between the Taronga Ferry Wharf and the main top zoo entrance, along Bradley's Head Road.

Dates: Sat 23 September to Sunday 8 October 2023
Times: The shuttle service will operate from 9.15am till 4:00pm daily, in line with arriving and departing ferries
Cost: Free if you have a  zoo ticket, free for Wildlife Retreat guests, and free for Function Centre guests
Accessibility: Wheelchair accessible via electric ramp (up to 4 wheelchairs). Prams are encouraged to be folded where possible.

Train

Passengers can change at Circular Quay train station and join the ferry to Taronga Zoo Sydney

Driving

Parking is available at Taronga Zoo Sydney, with entry from Bradley's Head Road. The all-day parking rate is $22. For guests entering prior to 4.00pm, the parking is a flat rate of $22 for the whole day, or free if entering and exiting within 90 minutes.

Please note: there is no 90-minute grace period after 4.00pm.

Please note the height of our carpark is maximum 2.1m

Bus & coach parking

Please note limited coach parking is available at Taronga Zoo Sydney.

There are seven bus bays near the security portal that have been reserved to accommodate the increasing numbers of private buses & coaches that require parking. Entry is via Whiting Beach Road.

Bus & coach drivers are encouraged to safely set down passengers at the dedicated bus bays along Bradley's Head Road before parking their vehicle at the seven bus bays near the security portal. All bus bays are available on a first in, first served basis.

Things to Note

  • All per person prices quoted are in Australian dollars and valid from 1st April 2024 to 31st March 2025.
  • Once a booking is confirmed, requests for alterations or cancellation will not be granted

Cancellation Policy

15% surcharge if change or cancel after order is placed. No refund if cancel within 2days.
Noticed: If you would like to cancel, please kindly email us to cancel the tour at least 2 business days prior to this cancellation period. Once cancellation is confirmed, you will receive your refund within 7-28 business days.
Cancellation notification needs to be formally replied receipt by us during our office hours as acknowledgement.

NOTE: FIT TRAVEL would adopt suppliers' cancellation policy. Cancellation fees, if any by the suppliers, will be charged according to the supppliers' cancellation policy ( FIT TRAVEL does not charge additional cancellation fees ).
With this specific product's cancellation policy, the suppliers reserve the right of final interpretation.
If your order only pays the deposit of a product: a, if the product has available seats on the departure date and price and contents are the same as the order you placed, the booking would be confirmed by us without additional notification to you, and the deposit is not refundable. b, if the product has no available seats or price or contents are not the same, we might provide alternative options. If you do not agree with the options, the deposit is refundable.
