This small-group tour takes you through family-run vineyards for guided tastings, a gourmet two-course lunch, and a sweet stop for local fudge. Itinerary:

Spend a relaxed day in the hinterland on this classic Mount Tamborine winery tour with gourmet lunch, departing from Brisbane. Enjoy guided tastings at three boutique wineries, a scenic lookout stop and a long lunch, with all transport taken care of so you can simply sip and enjoy.

Your day begins with a pickup from a central Brisbane city hotel or a central meeting point. Travel in a modern, air-conditioned vehicle to Tamborine Mountain, where you’ll join our classic winery route through the region’s cellar doors and vineyards. Along the way you’ll enjoy endless views of rolling hills, rainforest and valleys.

At three family-run wineries* your host will guide you through tastings of around 6 - 8 different wines at each stop – from crisp whites
to bold reds and local specialties – while sharing the stories behind the vineyards and winemakers.

A two-course gourmet lunch at one of our partner venues is included and time to soak up the mountain atmosphere. There’s also time in the afternoon to browse Gallery Walk’s fudge shops, boutiques and local art, or simply enjoy the fresh mountain air before your return journey to Brisbane.

  • What if the weather is bad?
    Our tours operate regardless of weather conditions. Our locations can cater for indoor and outdoor activities.
  • What should I wear on a wine tour?
    Dress is casual – smart/casual. Please note that it can be up to 5 degrees cooler on the mountain, so you may wish to bring a light jumper.
  • Do you cater for special dietary requirements?
    We can cater for all dietary requirements whether you are vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free, dairy-free or similar. Please mention this when booking your tour to ensure the chef is able to prepare your meal.
  • Can I bring my pet on the tour?
    Sorry, we are unable to accept pets on our tours.
  • I am travelling alone, can I still book?
    Yes you can book on any of our group tours. If the minimum number of guests required for us to run the tour is not reached, we will inform you before departure. We will propose you the best alternative options or fully refund your tour.
  • Can my child participate in a wine tour?
    Our small group tours are for adults only and unfortunately we can’t accept children on these tours. However, you are welcome to book a private tour where you can bring the whole family and we can tailor the day to suit everyone in your family’s requirements. Please understand that alcohol is unable to be served to persons under the age of 18.
  • How many tastings can I expect on the tour?
    You can expect to taste between 6-10 varieties at each winery/brewery on your tour. How many venues you visit will depend on the tour you select, please see the tour-specific page for more details.
  • What is the size of the group tour?
    Each of our minibuses hold 13 passengers. We have multiple buses available and can cater for larger groups.
  • How long do the tours last?
    Our tours generally run between 3 and 8 hours. For specific timings, please refer to the information page for the tour you are booking.
  • Where is the drop off location after the tour?
    After the tour, your guide will drop you off at the same location as you were picked up. However, if you would like to be dropped off in a central area, such as restaurant district or shopping centre, this can be arranged.
  • What is the meeting location for the tour departure?
    We are able to offer collection services from your hotel, AirBnB, private residence or pre-arranged location within 10km of the city center. To ensure that we are able to collect you from your specified location, please let us know.

Cancellation Policy

15% surcharge if change or cancel after order is placed. No refund if cancel within 7days.
Noticed: If you would like to cancel, please kindly email us to cancel the tour at least 2 business days prior to this cancellation period. Once cancellation is confirmed, you will receive your refund within 7-28 business days.
Cancellation notification needs to be formally replied receipt by us during our office hours as acknowledgement.

NOTE: FIT TRAVEL would adopt suppliers' cancellation policy. Cancellation fees, if any by the suppliers, will be charged according to the supppliers' cancellation policy ( FIT TRAVEL does not charge additional cancellation fees ).
With this specific product's cancellation policy, the suppliers reserve the right of final interpretation.
If your order only pays the deposit of a product: a, if the product has available seats on the departure date and price and contents are the same as the order you placed, the booking would be confirmed by us without additional notification to you, and the deposit is not refundable. b, if the product has no available seats or price or contents are not the same, we might provide alternative options. If you do not agree with the options, the deposit is refundable.
