South Sea Island

Full and Half Day Options

Book a day at one of Fiji’s most popular day trip destinations, South Sea Island. Come for the afternoon or the whole day to experience one of the treasures of the Mamanuca Islands.

South Sea Island is Fiji’s most popular day trip island and is a short high-speed catamaran ride with South Sea Cruises from Port Denarau. Being so close to Denarau means you can make the most of the day lazing on the beach, snorkelling, diving, and enjoying the many activities on offer.

Plenty to do It may be small in size, but there is plenty to keep you entertained with a semi-submersible submarine for underwater viewing, a saltwater swimming pool, and complimentary use of all non-motorised water sports equipment such as snorkelling gear, stand-up paddle boards, and kayaks.

Food and drinks Lunchtime is a highlight on the island when everyone gathers around rustic tables at the open-air restaurant to watch Fijian performances and explore craft markets (both daily except Sundays). Enjoy a delicious buffet lunch. Complimentary local beer, house wine, and soft drinks are also included all day long while on the island.

  • Return coach transfers to/from Port Denarau to/from most Nadi, Denarau, Wailoaloa, (Full and Half Day) Vuda, Natadola, Sonaisali, Momi Bay, and Coral Coast (Full Day only) hotels/resorts
  • Return vessel transfers from/to Port Denarau on our high-speed catamaran with air conditioned lounge, open air outer decks, and free Wi-Fi

SCUBA SNAP｜Underwater Photo Experience

Overview
A fun, quick, safe, and easy underwater photo activity. Participants simply walk into the shallow clear waters, put on basic equipment with the help of professional instructors, go underwater, and get their photo snapped — perfect for creating a unique memory with friends or family.

  • Duration: 5–10 minutes (shallow water)
  • Age: 8 years and above
  • Inclusions: All required equipment, underwater photo (sent by email)
  • Optional Extra: Upgrade to a longer dive experience with additional photos
  • Requirements: A digital medical statement must be signed (guardian signature required for participants under 18)

DISCOVER SCUBA INTRO DIVE｜Introductory Dive

Overview
A fully guided introductory dive with an Open Water Instructor. This 40-minute experience offers more time underwater than traditional intro dives, ideal for first-time divers wanting a safe and immersive introduction to scuba diving.

  • Age: 10 years and above
  • Inclusions: Full dive gear and underwater photos (sent by email)
  • Requirements: A digital medical statement must be signed (guardian signature required for participants under 18)

CERTIFIED OPEN WATER DIVE｜For Certified Divers

Overview
Designed for certified divers only, this experience explores areas beyond the introductory dive zone. Participants are accompanied by an Open Water Instructor.

  • Duration: 40 minutes
  • Age: 10 years and above (must hold a valid certification)
  • Inclusions: Full dive gear and underwater photos (sent by email)
  • Requirements: Valid Open Water Diver or Junior Open Water Diver certification required. A digital medical statement must also be signed.

BUBBLE BUDDIES JUNIOR｜Kids Intro Dive (Ages 8–15)

Overview
A child-friendly introductory dive in shallow water, supervised by qualified instructors. Children will take an underwater photo at the Bubble Buddies photo frame and receive keepsakes by email.

  • Duration: 40 minutes (shallow water)
  • Age: 8–15 years
  • Inclusions: Full dive gear, Bubble Buddies T-shirt, certificate, underwater photo (sent by email)
  • Optional Extra: Additional dive photos available
  • Requirements: Guardian must sign a digital medical statement

BUBBLE BUDDIES ADULT｜Family Add-On (16+ Years)

Overview
For family members aged 16 and above wishing to join their children in the Bubble Buddies Junior experience. Participants are supervised by both an Open Water Instructor and a Dive Master.

  • Duration: 40 minutes (shallow water)
  • Age: 16 years and above
  • Inclusions: Full dive gear and underwater photo (sent by email)
  • Optional Extra: Additional dive photos available
  • Requirements: Digital medical statement must be signed (guardian signature required if under 18)

  • Advance booking is recommended, especially during peak seasons and school holidays.
  • Please keep your belongings secure; no responsibility is taken for loss or damage.

Cancellation Policy

15% surcharge if change or cancel after order is placed. No refund if cancel within 3days.
Noticed: If you would like to cancel, please kindly email us to cancel the tour at least 2 business days prior to this cancellation period. Once cancellation is confirmed, you will receive your refund within 7-28 business days.
Cancellation notification needs to be formally replied receipt by us during our office hours as acknowledgement.

NOTE: FIT TRAVEL would adopt suppliers' cancellation policy. Cancellation fees, if any by the suppliers, will be charged according to the supppliers' cancellation policy ( FIT TRAVEL does not charge additional cancellation fees ).
