Skydiving is known, for very good reason, as life's ultimate thrill. It is the adventure and rush by which all others are measured. Amazingly, the buzz of free fall is an easy and safe experience, especially during a tandem skydiving adventure.

Skydiving process

On the ground, you will meet your highly experienced tandem instructor who will get you geared up and ready for the tandem skydive.

Your instructor will then give you a safety briefing. There are some important procedures to follow during your flight to altitude, exiting the aircraft, free fall, and landing which will make their job nice and easy.

Next, you will be driven to Gold Coast airport just a 5-minute drive away where you will board our Twin-engine Piper Chieftain aircraft or Cessna 182 ready for take off. On the 15-minute climb to an altitude of 12,000 feet, you will be able to take in the breathtaking scenery of the Gold Coast’s lush hinterland and golden coastline until you reach the drop point.

Hanging over the edge of the plane, looking at the world below, and hearing the engine of the plane revving along as your heart rate skyrockets will have you feeling alive!When you exit the aircraft you will free fall at speeds of up to 220km/h with the ocean directly below you. The feeling is supernatural!Your instructor will open the parachute at approximately 5000ft. Coming off that extreme free fall high everything will slow down and you will be soaring through the air.

The parachute ride down to the beautiful Kirra Beach allows you to once again, take in the views of the entire Gold Coast from a different perspective before you land on the soft yellow sand.

  • If you have any ongoing injuries or health concerns, especially related to your back, legs, shoulders, or heart, please consult your doctor before making a booking
  • You can wear glasses or contact lenses while jumping, as the operator will give you some clear goggles with elastic to go over the top of them. Please note that there is a small chance that you could lose your glasses, so if you can see okay without them or have an older pair to take, it is recommended to do that
  • You will not be able to bring a camera or GoPro with you on your skydive
  • There must be a 24-hour gap or more between your last scuba dive and your tandem skydive
  •  Are Guest over 18 and under 95Kgs? Please advise.

Participants with the following conditions are not recommended to skydive:

  • High blood pressure
  • Cardiac disease
  • Acrophobia (fear of heights)
  • Asthma
  • Epilepsy
  • Pregnancy

Important Guidelines:

  • Arrive at the designated location 20 minutes before departure as the tour departs on time.
  • Avoid consuming alcohol 8 hours before skydiving.
  • Do not participate in any diving activities 24 hours before skydiving.
  • We recommend bringing your snacks and water. On-site staff can assist with purchases.
  • Skydiving preparation takes 15–45 minutes. Follow all instructions from the professional coaches.
  • For safety reasons, no personal items (e.g., cameras, smartphones, GoPros) are allowed when boarding the plane.
  • The activity duration and traffic information provided are estimates only.
  • Parking is available at the venue for participants to drive.

  • Weight Limits:
    • If you are over 95kg, please select 95kg+ as an extra when booking.
  • Age Limits:
    • The minimum age is 16 years. Participants under 18 need parental/guardian consent, along with a signed waiver.
    • There is no maximum age, but reasonable health conditions are required.
  • Skydiving height and location are subject to weather and safety conditions.
  • Ensure you have a reachable Australian contact number for any last-minute changes.
  • There must be a 24-hour gap or more between your last scuba dive and your tandem skydive. Consider booking your jump first if you are planning to do both scuba diving and skydiving.
  • Please note if there are not enough participants for the time you have booked we may have to move your booking to an alternate time. We do this to reduce our carbon footprint on the environment.

Cancellation Policy

No refund if cancel after order is placed.

NOTE: FIT TRAVEL would adopt suppliers' cancellation policy. Cancellation fees, if any by the suppliers, will be charged according to the supppliers' cancellation policy ( FIT TRAVEL does not charge additional cancellation fees ).
