Experience the spectacular beauty of Rottnest Island from the air and the sea with Swan River Seaplanes and SeaLink. These flexible Fly + Ferry combo packages give you the convenience of a quick, scenic flight and the comfort of a ferry return, or vice-versa.

Your Travel Experience

Swan River Seaplanes offer an attentive, personalised service aboard their state-of-the-art Cessna Caravan amphibious planes.

  • Scenic Flight: The flight is a short 20-minute hop from Queen Street Jetty in South Perth. Enjoy a unique water take-off with panoramic, uninterrupted aerial views over Perth City, Kings Park, Fremantle, and Cottesloe Beach.
  • Rotto Flyover: The flight includes a special low-level figure-eight circumnavigation over Rottnest Island's spectacularly beautiful bays and beaches, giving you a birds-eye view of Wadjemup / Rottnest Island.
  • Flexibility: You can choose a Seaplane + Ferry (flying to the island, ferrying back) or a Ferry + Seaplane (ferrying to the island, flying back). Options can be booked as a same-day combination or across different dates.

Perth Barrack Street to Rottnest Island

  • Departure: 8:30 am / Arrival: 10:15 am
  • Departure: 8:45 am / Arrival: 10:30 am

Rottnest Island to Perth Barrack Street

  • Departure: 4:15 pm / Arrival: 6:00 pm
  • Departure: 5:00 pm / Arrival: 6:45 pm

Seaplane Flight Times:

  • Flights leave South Perth (Queen Street Jetty) at 9:00 am and 10:00 am.
  • Flights leave Rottnest Island at 3:00 pm and 4:00 pm.

Things to Note

  • Prices are per person and in AUD unless specifically mentioned
  • Tour participants must arrive 25 minutes before departure for seaplane/ferry loading requirements and passenger boarding. Due to loading requirements, check-in will close 30 minutes before departure, and boarding will end 15 minutes before departure. Rottnest Fast Ferries reserves the right to refuse passengers from boarding for not complying with the above check-in and boarding times.
  • Please note: This package includes third-party components and therefore availability is not guaranteed. Our team will be in touch to reconfirm within 24 hours of booking.
  • Seaplane/Ferry - Each passenger (excluding infants) is entitled to 1 x carry-on item no larger than 500mm x 300mm x 250mm and 7kg (Baggage policy needs to be reconfirmed subject to availability or aircraft conditions or weather )
  • The price is per person for those aged 2 years and older. Infants under 2 years old are free of charge but do not have assigned seats; they should be held by an adult.
  • If passengers are checking in luggage, you will be required to check in at the ticketing office first to collect your luggage tags
  • If you would prefer to return from Rottnest Island by seaplane, you can select the Ferry+Fly option when making your booking. (If you like to quote Fly and Fly both seaplane transit need an extra charge )

Cancellation Policy

No refund if cancel after order is placed.

NOTE: FIT TRAVEL would adopt suppliers' cancellation policy. Cancellation fees, if any by the suppliers, will be charged according to the supppliers' cancellation policy ( FIT TRAVEL does not charge additional cancellation fees ).
With this specific product's cancellation policy, the suppliers reserve the right of final interpretation.
If your order only pays the deposit of a product: a, if the product has available seats on the departure date and price and contents are the same as the order you placed, the booking would be confirmed by us without additional notification to you, and the deposit is not refundable. b, if the product has no available seats or price or contents are not the same, we might provide alternative options. If you do not agree with the options, the deposit is refundable.
