Pinnacles Sunset and Stargazing Tour | Departure from Perth

The journey begins with a drive north to the Lancelin lookout. Here, you will see a stunning contrast between the gigantic white sand dunes and the glistening waters of the Indian Ocean.

Next, explore the Nilgen Nature Reserve. When in season, the area is bursting with life, including banksias, grass trees, and kangaroo paws. If the flowers are in hiding, the tour moves to Hangover Bay, where you can dip your toes in crystal-clear waters and look out for bottlenose dolphins or sea lions.

Arrive at the Pinnacles Desert at dusk, just as the daytime crowds evaporate. These limestone pillars, formed from shells over millions of years, rise eerily out of the desert. Watching the colours change over the rocks as the sun sets creates a truly other-worldly, lunar atmosphere.

As darkness sets in, settle in for a picnic dinner under the outback sky. Away from city lights, the stars and planets appear with incredible clarity. While marvelling at the swirling cosmos through a telescope, you will listen to ancient stories of the Aboriginal Dreamtime, connecting the landscape to the stars above.
