Known as one of Australia’s finest wine regions, the Margaret River region is an area blessed with natural beauty. Offering a diverse range of experiences, this tour provides the opportunity to explore this iconic Western Australian destination in a single day.

Locations visited include:

• Busselton Jetty

• A local Margaret River brewery for lunch, featuring local produce and complimentary beer tastings

• Mammoth Cave

• Cape Leeuwin Lighthouse

• Margaret River Region

The journey travels south from Perth through farmland dotted with grazing cattle and coastal towns. On arrival in Busselton, known as the gateway to the Margaret River Region, there is a stop for morning tea (own expense) at the iconic Busselton Jetty — the longest timber jetty in the Southern Hemisphere. Please note there is insufficient time at this stop to walk the full length of the jetty.

Continuing into the heart of the region, the tour visits one of Margaret River’s boutique breweries for lunch (venue may change due to force majeure), including complimentary beer and cider tastings. Following lunch, guests enjoy further wine tasting at a selected winery (subject to availability), with insights into the wine production process and opportunities to purchase.

The tour then continues to Mammoth Cave for a guided exploration of this impressive gothic cave, featuring vast chambers and fascinating insights into the region’s flora and fauna. Travelling south through the Boranup Forest of towering karri trees, the journey reaches Augusta and Cape Leeuwin Lighthouse. Here, guests can marvel at the meeting point of the Southern and Indian Oceans — a rare natural phenomenon.

The return journey includes a brief stop in the township of Margaret River to stroll along the main street. After a long but rewarding day showcasing the highlights of this remarkable region, the tour returns to Perth with an en-route comfort stop, arriving at approximately 8:30 pm.
