Opera House & Sydney Harbour Kayaking Tour

What to bring:

Clothing and footwear that are comfortable and suitable for getting wet. A long-sleeved rashie is recommended, along with board shorts. Please bring a spare pair of shoes to change into after the session, sunglasses, a hat, and a bottle of water.

General notices:

• Currency for the tour quotation is in Australian dollars (AUD).
• There are 12 single kayaks and 5 double kayaks available per experience.
• Children must be 5 years or older to participate (children under 5 are not permitted).
• Kayaking is a physically demanding activity; guests are advised to have a full meal prior to participation.
• All fitness levels are welcome. Double kayaks allow one participant to sit in front and take it easy, take photos, or rest as needed, while the rear paddler controls and manoeuvres the kayak.
• Any specific paddler requirements will be outlined on the booking platform.
• The Sydney Kayak Experience operates in most weather conditions, including sunrise and mid-morning sessions; however, sunrise and weather conditions cannot be guaranteed. Guests should dress appropriately and bring a rain jacket in case of rain.
• Tours may be postponed in the event of electrical storms or extremely high winds.
• If the operator confirms the tour is proceeding in wet weather and a reschedule option is offered via the prior-day weather update email, guests may reschedule up to 6 pm the evening before the tour for a non-refundable rebooking fee of 15 percent. This option only applies when explicitly stated in the weather update email; otherwise, standard cancellation and no-show policies apply.
• Double kayaks are booked per kayak (for example, one kayak for two people or two kayaks for four people). If one participant does not attend, the remaining participant may not be accommodated, as a single kayak cannot be guaranteed.
