Tour Information

Kata Tjuta Sunset: operates on select days between February–March and June–November

End your day in the Red Centre with the unforgettable sight of the sun setting over Kata Tjuta (The Olgas). This return transfer takes you from your resort to the iconic viewing area, with stops along the way to make the journey even more memorable.

On the way, enjoy a scenic photo stop at the sand dune viewing area, followed by time to explore the Walpa Gorge walk (approx. 1 hour return). Afterwards, we’ll take you to the Kata Tjuta sunset viewing platform to watch the domes change colour in the golden evening light—an awe-inspiring end to your day.

After sunset, relax on your return journey back to your hotel.

Tour Exclusions

  • Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park pass is required for entry. Passes are not included in your bus ticket and can be purchased online at Parks Australia.gov.au
  • Tour guide – self-guided option to complete the walk at your own pace within the recommended timeframe
  • Sunset is not included in this ticket

Transportation

Pick up times: Our timetable changes monthly to align with sunrise and sunset times, ensuring you can make the most of your visit. The latest schedule is available on our website, from your driver or hotel reception. Please check the latest timetable online or at your hotel reception.

Pick up location: Convenient hotel pick up is included from all Ayers Rock Resort hotels including:

  • Desert Gardens
  • Sails in the Desert
  • Ayers Rock Resort Campground
  • Outback Hotel & Lodge

  • Price list in AUD
  • Pre-booking pickup time and location is essential
  • Seats are limited & subject to availability at the time of confirmation
  • Uluru–Kata Tjuta National Park Pass is required for entry
  • Passes are not included and must be purchased online at ParksAustralia.gov.au
  • Infant rates apply from 0–4 yrs
  • Child rates apply from 5–15 yrs
  • Bookings cancelled within 24 hours of scheduled time will not receive a refund

Cancellation Policy

Free Cancellation if cancel outside 3days. No refund if cancel within 3days.
Noticed: If you would like to cancel, please kindly email us to cancel the tour at least 2 business days prior to this cancellation period. Once cancellation is confirmed, you will receive your refund within 7-28 business days.
Cancellation notification needs to be formally replied receipt by us during our office hours as acknowledgement.

NOTE: FIT TRAVEL would adopt suppliers' cancellation policy. Cancellation fees, if any by the suppliers, will be charged according to the supppliers' cancellation policy ( FIT TRAVEL does not charge additional cancellation fees ).
With this specific product's cancellation policy, the suppliers reserve the right of final interpretation.
