Hunter Valley is located 2 hours' drive north of Sydney. It is one of Australia's most famous and oldest wine-producing regions. Within a 20-minute drive of the center of Pokolbin, there are more than 120 varieties of wine production areas, including vineyards established as early as the 1830s. Hot air balloons have continued to sell well in the Hunter Valley since 1980. It is only a two-hour drive north of Sydney and 45 minutes from New Castle. It is Australia's premier vineyard region and provides a perfect flight background for hot air balloons. The flight to the famous and picturesque wine-producing region lasts about one hour, leaving all your worries behind. After the flight, you will enjoy a delicious breakfast at the famous Peterson winery and restaurant, and relax with a glass of champagne.

Our Hunter Valley Balloon Flight with Sydney CBD Transfer Package departs every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday from 16th January 2024.
Please note that for each departure, a minimum of 6 passengers is required. Package tickets are fully refundable in the case of bad weather conditions or not enough people booking.

  • When you arrive at the designated meeting time, your pilot and team members will be the first to send you a warm greeting at Peterson's Champagne House. You can enjoy cookies, coffee or tea while you sign in and order breakfast, and watch the pilots prepare for the flight, including wind tests. The pilot will give you a brief flight briefing before boarding the bus to take off.
  • The meeting point for the Hunter Valley hot air balloon flight is Peterson's Champagne House, which is particularly good at making champagne. It is located on the corner of Broke Road and Wine Country Drive in Pokolbin. Hotels in Pokolbin, Lovedale, Rothbury, Mount View and Cessnock are just 10 minutes' drive away. It's a 30-35 minute drive from Broke, Maitland or Singleton, and 50 minutes from Wollombi.

Cancellation Policy

Free Cancellation if cancel outside 3days. No refund if cancel within 3days.
Noticed: If you would like to cancel, please kindly email us to cancel the tour at least 2 business days prior to this cancellation period. Once cancellation is confirmed, you will receive your refund within 7-28 business days.
Cancellation notification needs to be formally replied receipt by us during our office hours as acknowledgement.

NOTE: FIT TRAVEL would adopt suppliers' cancellation policy. Cancellation fees, if any by the suppliers, will be charged according to the supppliers' cancellation policy ( FIT TRAVEL does not charge additional cancellation fees ).

    I loved flying in the hot air balloon, it felt really nice flying above everything, the sunrise was beautiful and something I will remember.

    The breakfast was good as well.

  2. Balloon flight experience

    At first, we had to wait a little bit, but then the staff (who were really kind and knew a lot about this) told us that they were trying to find the perfect spot so that we could have the best experience for balloon flight, and it was very heartwarming. The breakfast that we had after the flight was also really good, and I recommend that you bring clothing that keeps you warm, my sister had to borrow my clothing 😂

  3. 起飛當天無理取消，且堅持不肯退款

    在前一天晚上成功check in後，起飛當天，我與另外2名老人一大清早起床，且乘坐熱氣球公司的專車到peterson集合地點。

    在到達peterson集合地點後，我們再一步填寫了準備進行起飛的表格。

    可是在乘坐另一輛熱氣球公司專車前往起飛地點途中，被熱氣球公司職員通知要取消飛行，且沒有提供任何實際或合理理由，只是不停的「Sorry guys…」。惟當天一整天沒有下雨，天朗氣清，本人至今仍摸不著頭腦到底為何要取消這活動。

    本人正與客服和熱氣球公司接洽商量退款事宜。特此紀錄發生在本人且家中2名老人的不愉快事件。在此特別保留使用法律途徑追究熱氣球公司的權利。勸喻其他有意參與這活動的遊客三思。
