Take a fast 45-minute catamaran ride to beautiful Green Island and enjoy two hours on this unique reef and rainforest coral cay. Then, you’ll depart Green Island to continue your day of adventure and discovery with 3 hours on board Great Adventures' spacious activity platform moored on the majestic Outer Great Barrier Reef.

Green Island

Green Island is a beautiful 6000-year-old coral cay located in the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park – a premier world heritage site and one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World. Grab your snorkel gear and head to the Lifeguard patrolled beach to explore the marine world off the beach, take a stroll through the unique tropical rainforest, laze on the white coral sand beach or take part in some of the optional activities that Green Island has to offer*.

Outer Barrier Reef

The stable reef activity platform is the perfect base for swimmers and non-swimmers to explore. Snorkel and/or dive, visit the underwater observatory, cruise in a semi-sub or just relax on the sundeck with a delicious buffet lunch. The vibrant marine life of the reef awaits you.
In addition to your included activities Great Adventures’ activity platform also has a wide range of optional activities to choose from*.

Tour Information

The Great Barrier Reef is not one continuous reef but is made up of over 2900 reefs and 900 islands. It is the largest reef structure and marine park in the world. So large in fact that it is visible from the moon!

Green Island is a beautiful 6000-year-old coral cay located in the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park, just 27 km offshore from Cairns, Tropical North Queensland.

Enjoy a hot & cold buffet lunch at the outer reef, tea and coffee and a range of snacks & beverages from the onboard bar.

The surcharge will be $10 per adult / $5 per child, payable on-site at check-in.

Children: 4–14 years. Under 4 free.
Family fare: Max 2 adults + 2 children (same family). Extra children at normal rate. Not valid with other discounts.
Helicopter Weight & Infant Rules
Max single-seat weight: 130 kg. Over 130 kg requires an extra seat at 50% of ticket price, payable to Nautilus Aviation on travel day.
Infants (0–2 yrs) fly free on lap (1 per flight, must be advised when booking).
Ages 3+ require their own seat.
All passenger weights must be advised at booking.
Cancellation Policy (GBR Helicopter Package)
After confirmation: 15% cancellation fee.
Within 74 hrs of departure: 100% charge

Cancellation Policy

Free Cancellation if cancel outside 2days. No refund if cancel within 2days.
Noticed: If you would like to cancel, please kindly email us to cancel the tour at least 2 business days prior to this cancellation period. Once cancellation is confirmed, you will receive your refund within 7-28 business days.
Cancellation notification needs to be formally replied receipt by us during our office hours as acknowledgement.

NOTE: FIT TRAVEL would adopt suppliers' cancellation policy. Cancellation fees, if any by the suppliers, will be charged according to the supppliers' cancellation policy ( FIT TRAVEL does not charge additional cancellation fees ).
