  • You can request that after the hot air balloon experience, the driver can drop the guests off en route to Kuranda Village at either the skyrail station, train station, or Cairns Marina.

Things to Note

  • All prices are quoted in Australian dollars and include GST.
  • Tour currently operates on Daily subject availability . Tour does not run on Christmas Day or New Year's Day
  • Children below 4 years old, expectant mothers, and travelers with reduced mobility are not allowed to participate in this activity
  • Pick-up service is available for most accommodations in Cairns; please provide your hotel's name and address in the Note section when booking. This is an hour-long transfer; your pick-up time will be specified in your booking confirmation
  • Children 3 years old and younger may join the tour without participating in the hot air balloon flight; one parent must take care of the child on the ground while the other parent takes the hot air balloon flight
  • Travelers ages 4–17 must be accompanied by an adult during the entire tour (in and out of the hot air balloon)
  • Travellers must contact the service supplier with their confirmation number during office hours at least 2 days before the travel date to reconfirm the booking, pick-up details, and departure time. Please adjust your travel plans according to the details given by the service provider at reconfirmation
  • Please arrive 10 minutes before the pick-up time at your pick-up location. There might be a 5- to 10-minute delay depending on the traffic. If your coach is late or you are not picked up, please call the service provider with your confirmation number to double-check
  • The departure time for the first and second flights is the same. Once travellers have arrived at the location, those embarking on the first flight will enter the hot air balloon basket and begin the 30-minute flight; the second flight participants will follow the first flight hot air balloon by car
  • The local agency reserves the right to cancel hot air balloon flights due to adverse weather conditions. Full refunds will be granted in this event; please consider before booking
  • Vehicle tracking for the transfer service is available; please add your mobile phone number in the Note section when booking to be provided with the tracking method and details
  • Travellers are advised to consult a doctor before booking and prepare personal medication if needed; please make sure to specify your health conditions and medication in the Note section when booking
  • In the event of a change in itinerary or cancellation due to traffic, weather, or any other unforeseen circumstances, please contact customer service and a partial refund will be granted
  • Travellers with the following conditions are not recommended for participation: High blood pressure, Cardiac disease, Acrophobia, Pregnancy
  • Hot air balloons usually fly at an altitude of 2,500–4,500 feet; travellers who went scuba diving the night before this tour are not allowed admission; travellers who went scuba diving in the morning 1 day before this tour are required to consult a licensed diving instructor about this tour and are responsible for their health
  • Admission will not be granted to travellers who are under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or medication; refunds will not be granted under such circumstances
  • Travellers are advised to wear closed-toe shoes or sneakers; note that high heels are not allowed
  • Please wear long pants for this tour; skirts are not allowed
  • Travelers are advised to wear outdoor clothing and to avoid wearing white clothes
  • Travelers are advised to bring sun hats and sunglasses
  • Please make sure to bring sufficient water

Cancellation Policy

Free Cancellation if cancel outside 3days. No refund if cancel within 3days.
Noticed: If you would like to cancel, please kindly email us to cancel the tour at least 2 business days prior to this cancellation period. Once cancellation is confirmed, you will receive your refund within 7-28 business days.
Cancellation notification needs to be formally replied receipt by us during our office hours as acknowledgement.

NOTE: FIT TRAVEL would adopt suppliers' cancellation policy. Cancellation fees, if any by the suppliers, will be charged according to the supppliers' cancellation policy ( FIT TRAVEL does not charge additional cancellation fees ).

    The view was actually stunning. I felt like I needed to record every second of the sunrise through photos or videos, and my eyes felt blessed. I can still remember it vividly. Looking at a sunrise in the air with the landscape below you is so different to when you’re on the ground, it gives you a whole new perspective and it looks and feels more angelic. I genuinely can not describe how beautiful it was. This is an experience everyone should have. And, the transport was so convenient too, I didn’t need to think about getting there. Literal 10/10
