From limestone pinnacles to coral reefs and pink lakes, this route takes you through some of the country’s most famous natural wonders.
By choosing this route, you get to see untouched scenery and have experiences that are different to the East CoastDesertscoastlines and wildlife make the West a dream destination for adventurers and nature lovers. Meet your guide in Perth at 8:30 am for a warm welcome before heading north to Geraldton. Along the way, stop to see WA’s biggest sand dunes and walk through the Pinnacles in Nambung National Park. See the quirky Leaning Trees of Greenough and have a beach break at Jurien Bay, where sea lions sometimes appear. Arrive in Geraldton and we’ll do a short orientation tour before settling in for the night.

Day 2: Northampton & Kalbarri National Park

Breakfast before we visit the historic town of Northampton, home to one of WA’s oldest First Nations art galleries. See the pink lake at Hutt Lagoon, then explore Kalbarri National Park’s dramatic features – Z Bend Gorge, and Nature’s Window and the Skywalk.

Day 3: Shark Bay & Monkey Mia

Get on a boat in Kalbarri Marina to see the local rock lobster trade – and try your hand at pulling up the pots. Then head to Monkey Mia via Hamelin Pool’s stromatolites and the amazing Shell Beach. That evening, join a First Nations cultural experience, sampling bush tucker and learning traditional instruments like the didgeridoo.

Day 4: Monkey Mia & Shark Bay

Day 5: Carnarvon

Head to Carnarvon with a quick stop at the Space and Technology Centre, once part of NASA’s Apollo program. Learn about local culture at the Gascoyne Aboriginal Heritage and Cultural Centre, then explore the Gascoyne Food Trail, famous for tropical produce and local delicacies.

  • The East Coast of Australia has a varied climate depending on the region and season.
    Summer temperatures can exceed 30 °C, while winters are mild.
    Coastal areas may experience sudden rain or cooler evenings, so pack for both sun and warmth.
    Tours operate in most weather conditions unless otherwise advised.

Booking & Passenger Details

  • Required at time of booking: date of birth, contact number, passport details, dietary allergies, title or gender (for room configuration).
  • Please advise any special dietary needs or medical conditions when booking.
  • This tour includes light walking; travellers must have basic mobility.
  • Travellers aged 70+ must submit a doctor’s certificate at least 30 days prior to departure.
  • Children aged 12–17 must travel with an adult or guardian. The tour is not suitable for children 11 years and under.
  • Solo travellers booking Shared Accommodation (SD16-B) will be paired with another solo traveller of the same gender.

Fare Type Options

  • SD16-B Shared Room: Adults 18+ only, shared room + shared ensuite.
  • SD16-S Private Double/Twin Room: For two travellers sharing a private ensuite.
  • SD16-P Private Single Room: Adults 18+ only, private ensuite.

15% surcharge if change or cancel after order is placed. No refund if cancel within 30days.
Noticed: If you would like to cancel, please kindly email us to cancel the tour at least 2 business days prior to this cancellation period. Once cancellation is confirmed, you will receive your refund within 7-28 business days.
Cancellation notification needs to be formally replied receipt by us during our office hours as acknowledgement.
