Tour Information

Experience everything Mount Buller has to offer on this one-day tour of the snow-covered mountain. During the day, you’ll have the chance to snowboard or ski until your heart is content, take an adrenalin-pumping toboggan ride, and soak up the magical views from the peak. Hire all your clothes and equipment at Mount Bulleron the day or pre-book packages with us to receive a discount. You'll be free to explore the mountain in any way you like –whether that’s by hitting the slopes, taking a snowy stroll, or sitting back and relaxing in the selection of cosy cafes and tasty restaurants.

Why not try our Mount Buller Tour for an exhilarating winter experience just out of Melbourne? Mount Buller is a winter alpine destination not to be missed.  Nestled high on the ski fields, the resort offers travellers quaint lodges, luxury hotels, cosy restaurants and cafes. Over 300 ha of snowfields cover all four sides of the mountain providing skiers and snowboarders with 25 different lifts to try out.  Starting from gentle slopes to a spectacular double black diamond shute, there is a run available for all ability levels.

If you aren’t keen on hitting the slopes, there are plenty of things to do for non-skiers.  Sightseers can indulge in tobogganing, light snow play or just get to know the remarkable village, enjoying what the town has to offer from the bottom of the mountain.

The journey by bus to Mount Buller passes through the Yarra Valley and the high country to take in the spectacular views of the mountains and the snowy landscape.  On the way we stop at Mansfield to pickup your hire equipment and perhaps grab a coffee.  Clothing and equipment will be available for hire on the day, or pre-purchase one of our discounted packages so you are ready to go when you arrive.  We then wind our way up the the breathtaking mountain range until we arrive at the Mount Buller Alpine Resort.   From here the day is yours, indulge in your chosen activity and  explore the region.  With up to 5 hours on the snow, this day tour to Mt Buller is one of the best value around.

Please note: The Lesson & Beginner Lift Combo does not include equipment or clothing. Please bring your own gear or add an equipment and clothing package. These packages must be booked at least 48 hours before your travel date.

All other lift tickets can be purchased through Mt Buller directly. Toboggans can be hired on the day on your way up to the mountain. Sorry, we are not able to pre-book these for you.

  • Child prices are available for children aged 3-14 years.
  • Sorry, we don't carry children under 3 years old.
  • *Pre-purchased packages are not refundable.
  • Return on a different date option : If you wish to stay overnight in Mt Buller, please see our Return on a Different Day option.

Cancellation Policy

25% surcharge if change or cancel after order is placed. No refund if cancel within 7days.
Noticed: If you would like to cancel, please kindly email us to cancel the tour at least 2 business days prior to this cancellation period. Once cancellation is confirmed, you will receive your refund within 7-28 business days.
Cancellation notification needs to be formally replied receipt by us during our office hours as acknowledgement.

NOTE: FIT TRAVEL would adopt suppliers' cancellation policy. Cancellation fees, if any by the suppliers, will be charged according to the supppliers' cancellation policy ( FIT TRAVEL does not charge additional cancellation fees ).
With this specific product's cancellation policy, the suppliers reserve the right of final interpretation.
If your order only pays the deposit of a product: a, if the product has available seats on the departure date and price and contents are the same as the order you placed, the booking would be confirmed by us without additional notification to you, and the deposit is not refundable. b, if the product has no available seats or price or contents are not the same, we might provide alternative options. If you do not agree with the options, the deposit is refundable.
