ANIMALS

Paradise Country is home to a diverse and unique range of wildlife. Bring your kids to meet our kids in the Animal Nursery and see the gorgeous guinea pigs, lambs, piglets and calves. Then why not visit the Farmyard Play Paddock and meet a friendly range of goats and sheep in the outdoor enclosure. With the Wildlife Walkthrough just a hop away, you also have the opportunity to get up close to the iconic kangaroos and learn all about Australia's cuddly koalas, Tasmanian Devils and many more incredible animals during your visit.

SHOW & EXPERIENCES

The whole family will love the variety of shows and experiences that a day on the farm can bring. There’s nothing quite like the feeling you get from watching the stockmen and their dogs round up a flock of sheep, crack a stockman’s whip or put their trusty stock horses through their paces. You’ll even get the chance to sample some of our delicious billy tea around the campfire as you experience the action of the outback. Plus, don’t miss Shaun the Sheep’s Aussie Adventure show in the Shearing Shed.

Stockman Show: Daily at 10:30am and 2pm

See the art of mustering as our talented stockmen and their trusty dogs work in unison to round up their sheep. You’ll also be shown how to throw a boomerang, milk a cow and witness the skill it takes to get that almighty crack from a stock whip.

Stock Horse Arena and Billy Tea Show: Daily at 11:00am

Gather around the campfire and learn all about the farm craftmanship of Billy Tea and Damper. Watch the Australian Stock Horse in a show full of action, speed and skill as they maneuver around and over farming obstacles to get the job done.

Shaun's Aussie Adventure Show: Daily at 11:30am and 1:30pm

Enjoy a variety of dining options during your visit to Paradise Country. Dine at our popular Farmhouse Restaurant which offers gorgeous views of the farm and delicious meals. Grab a hearty burger and chips and roll out a rug on the hill for a picnic in the sun. Or, indulge in seasonal country fare and farm goodies at The new Burrow Café overlooking our Meerkat exhibit.

Visit our Wildlife Photo Centre or Homestead Gift Shop to purchase Australian souvenirs that you can take home as a memory of your day at Paradise Country.
