Your tour begins by heading up through the scenic Adelaide Hills, where you'll get a taste of this region's renowned offerings. You'll enjoy a morning tea break (at your own expense) and the chance to wander through Strathalbyn, a charming town known for its antique stores, markets, bakeries, and cafes. You might discover treasures in one of its many antique shops, stroll along the River Angas Walkway, or admire the historic architecture.

The journey continues through the Currency Creek wine region, offering glimpses of its vineyards, before reaching Goolwa. Here, you'll embark on a brief tour of its wharf, barrage, and beach areas. See where the mighty Murray River meets the Southern Ocean and learn about its historical significance as a river port.

Next, you'll visit Port Elliot for a picturesque view of the long, sandy beach at Horseshoe Bay, a popular and protected swimming spot, leading you towards your main destination.

The highlight of the day is Victor Harbour, one of South Australia's most popular seaside towns. Here, you'll have free time to enjoy lunch, wander around the township, visit Granite Island, or opt for a Seal Island Cruise with Big Duck Boat Tours (optional activity, additional cost). Granite Island is a significant ecological attraction, known for its unique granite formations and marine life. Victor Harbour is also famous for its iconic horse-drawn tram to Granite Island and its seasonal whale-watching cruises (typically May to October, offering a chance to spot Southern Right Whales).

From Victor Harbour, you'll sit back and relax as you take in the stunning coastal views of Encounter Bay and Rosetta Head, including the prominent Bluff.
