4 Days 3 Night , Hotel & Hire Car PACKAGE : Enjoy superb ocean views from your accommodation at Emu Bay, situated on the north coast of Kangaroo Island. From here you can explore the Island at your own pace.

SUGGESTED ITINERARY:

Day 1

An early morning departure from Adelaide (coach or self-drive) and take in the scenic Fleurieu Peninsula as you make your way to Cape Jervis to board the SeaLink ferry service to Kangaroo Island.

Kangaroo Island is over 155km in length and 55km wide and is Australia’s third largest Island. During the next four days, you will have the opportunity to take in some of the spectacular coastal scenery, beautiful beaches, scenic landscapes, and fantastic National Parks. Base yourself on a peaceful rural property, with million-dollar views of the long white beach of Emu Bay.

Emu Bay Holiday Homes offer plenty of space to stay and play. From a holiday cabin to a large three-bedroom house, every budget and style is catered for. The surrounding gardens attract an amazing variety of birds, which you can see on one of the long peaceful walks through the bushlands. A central location for day trips, but only 500 metres to the beach and jetty, Emu Bay Holiday Homes are the perfect location for your relaxing holiday. You may like to visit the Emu Bay Lavender Farm for breakfast or lunch and sample their range of lavender beauty products, local produce and even Lavender Gin.

Day 2

Today, you can visit the island's most famous Seal Bay to witness a large group of wild Australian sea lions surfing right before your eyes! (Seal Bay entrance fee is not included.)

You may choose to explore the north coast of the island with Kangaroo Island Marine Adventures on board their Island Explorer vessel (additional cost) or if its fishing that you enjoy why not spend a full day with Emu Bay Fishing Charters (additional cost). At Bay of Shoals Wines (Kingscote) you can taste their award-winning wines while enjoying the superb views that overlook the Bay of Shoals and Reeves Point.

Day 3

From Emu Bay, you can explore the stunning north coast beaches of KI such as Stokes Bay, Western River Cove and Snellings Beach or head into the heartland of the island and visit the township of Parndana and the Kangaroo Island Wildlife Park. Here you will see a wide range of Kangaroo Island and Australia's rare and unique wildlife at your fingertips! Get up close with ourKoalas, see Penguins swim and play, hand feed Kangaroos and Wallabies, learn about endangered species, interact with Snakes, Crocodiles, and reptiles.

Day 4

Visit Flinders Chase National Park, a sanctuary for native Australian wildlife including kangaroos, wallabies, koalas and echidnas. Get some awesome photo opportunities at Remarkable Rocks and Admirals Arch, a natural nursery and safe haven for playful Long-nosed fur seals that can be seen resting, swimming and playing in the waves or on the rocks.

PM Departures from Kangaroo Island : Hire Car is to be dropped off at the Penneshaw SeaLink Ferry Terminal before 6.45pm. 7:30pm ferry departs Penneshaw and arrives in Cape Jervis at 8:15pm. The SeaLink coach departs Cape Jervis at 8:30pm to travel back to Adelaide. Arrival time back to Adelaide is approx. 10:30pm either at selected Adelaide Hotels or ACBS drop off.
