For those seeking a unique perspective, there's an opportunity to test your abseiling skills (at your own expense) and witness the breathtaking views of the gorge. A visit to the World Heritage Listed Shark Bay will leave you enchanted by the splendor of nature. Marvel at a beach composed entirely of tiny shells, encounter the world's oldest living fossils, the stromatolites, and witness playful dolphins at Monkey Mia, just a stone's throw away from the shore.

This region is not only home to approximately 2000 wild dolphins but also to turtles, dugongs, kangaroos, and emus. Prepare to be amazed as you explore the World Heritage Listed Ningaloo Reef, renowned for its diverse marine life and the presence of majestic manta rays and whale sharks. Spend a night in Coral Bay, a beachside town with coral reefs so close to the shore that you can swim out to view them. Alternatively, join a search for whale sharks or manta rays. Whether you choose to embark on a boat tour or simply unwind on the beach, the pristine beaches and turquoise waters will leave an indelible impression on your memory.

Continuing our journey, we venture as far north as Exmouth Cape, where rugged landscapes meet the sea. Stand atop Vlamingh Head at the lighthouse and take in panoramic views of the reef and ranges. If you visit in spring, you may even catch a glimpse of migrating humpback whales. Conclude your exploration of the Cape with a visit to the snorkeling haven of Turquoise Bay.

As we make our way back to Perth from Exmouth, we'll stop at various points for comfort breaks, providing you with ample opportunities to reflect on your adventure and solidify new friendships. Full Itinerary

Day 1: Perth → The Hutt Lagoon Pink Lake → Kalbarri

Kick off your adventure with a guided tour through the Pinnacles Desert in Nambung National Park, before enjoying lunch by the sea at Jurien Bay and journey up Indian Ocean Drive for some stunning coastal views. Stopping off at the must-see attraction just outside of Geraldton, known as the Pink Lake located off the coral coast highway (conditions permitting). Then it’s on to the seaside town of Kalbarri for our overnight accommodation.

Day 2: Kalbarri → Monkey Mia

Rise early for a magical start to the day, with a photo opportunity at sunrise at either Nature’s Window or the Kalbarri Skywalk. Visit the marvels of The Murchison Gorge and Z-Bend in Kalbarri National Park where water has carved its way through sandstone. Witness bright pops of color here during wildflower season (spring). We then travel on to the famous Billabong Roadhouse for refreshments and lunch (at guests’ own expense), this iconic landmark has been serving WA visitors since 1962. Great healthy meal options to choose from are plenty of gluten-free alternatives. From here, we visit the remarkable living fossils known as The Stromatolites located within the World Heritage Listed Shark Bay. Then it’s on to Monkey Mia for our accommodation by the beach.

Day 3: Monkey Mia → Coral Bay → Ningaloo Reef

This morning meet the famous Monkey Mia Dolphins and get some amazing photos. Enjoy chill-out time on the beach here or enjoy a coffee at the restaurant before we get back on the road in the morning. Check out the spectacular cliff views overlooking Denham at Eagle Bluff. Take a stroll along a beach made entirely of tiny shells followed by lunch. Before heading off to settle into our accommodation in Coral Bay, located right on the famous Ningaloo Reef.

Day 4: Coral Bay & Ningaloo Reef

You’ll have most of the day to explore the Ningaloo Reef, Australia’s largest Fringe reef, at your own leisure. Choose to join a boat tour or enjoy free time to experience the beautiful beaches Coral Bay has to offer. Go for a stroll on the beach and check out the shark nursery, swim with the manta rays (additional cost), or go for a snorkel on the Ningaloo Reef only metres from shore. This evening we take the short drive up the peninsula to Exmouth and check into our accommodation for two nights in the town centre.

Day 5: Ningaloo Reef → Cape Range National Park → Turquoise Bay → Exmouth

Today we explore Cape Range National Park, a spectacular place of rugged limestone ranges, breathtaking deep canyons and 50km of pristine beaches. Relax on the beach or choose to go snorkelling at the stunning Turquoise Bay, before finishing the tour in the early afternoon in time for lunch. Free time in the afternoon to explore the township of Exmouth only a 500 meter walk from our accommodation or sit back and enjoy the pool at our accommodation. Or choose to join a whaleshark or humpback swim tour and spend the day meeting some of the Ningaloo Reef’s most famous visitors (at guests’ own expense and seasonal). Visit Vlamingh Head Lighthouse at sunset.

Day 6: Exmouth → Geraldton

Visit the town of Carnarvon and one of the local banana or mango plantations (seasonal). Enjoy lunch on the waterfront of Carnarvon, before stopping off for a photo opportunity overlooking the Murchison River. Refreshments stop along the way at Billabong for coffee & ice-creams. Before arriving at our final overnight destination in Geraldton. The group will enjoy their final dinner together at The Murchison Tavern after a long day of driving, discounted meals are available at guests’ own expense.

Day 7: Geraldton → Perth

Enjoy the HMAS Sydney Memorial with stunning views of Geraldton. Take a walk along the 3-bay walk at Green Head before wandering amongst the sand dunes of Lancelin. If you’re feeling adventurous, try out sandboarding for a bit of fun! Return to Perth late afternoon. Kick back and relax on the bus for the last stretch, take in the last views of the scenic countryside before making our way back towards Perth, with drop off starting around 5:00pm

Start the day with adventure by abseiling down the gorge walls in Kalbarri National Park with Kalbarri Abseil. No previous experience is necessary, as full training will be provided on-site. All equipment was provided also. Get photos on your own camera, as guests not participating can take photos for you!

Swim with Manta Rays on the Ningaloo Reef with Coral Bay Ecotours [Day4 option] – require pre-bookings, please contact us
Enjoy a 5-6 hour tour of the Ningaloo Reef with Coral Bay Ecotours. The day includes all equipment, including a short-length wetsuit if required, morning and afternoon tea, and a buffet-style lunch of cold meats and salads. Enjoy the underwater dance of the manta rays as well as 2 reef snorkels where you will see beautiful fish, corals, and possibly sea turtles and reef sharks! They’ll also make a visit to the turtle sanctuary, where you can view turtles coming up for a breath in the shallows. (competent swimmers only).

Glass Bottom Boat on the Ningaloo Reef with Coral Bay Ecotours [Day4 option] – book onboard payable direct
Join Coral Bay Ecotours for a tour of the Ningaloo Reef on board their glass bottom boat. Learn about the tropical and temperate fish and corals you see under the glass. Choose between a 1,2 or 3-hour journey. The 1 hour is glass viewing only. The 2-hour journey includes viewing through the glass and a snorkel site. The 3-hour includes viewing through the glass, snorkeling and a visit to the turtle sanctuary, where you can view turtles feeding and coming up for air in the shallows. Your skipper can even try to get the turtles under the glass for you! Snorkel tours include equipment.

Whaleshark swim with Exmouth Dive [Day5 option] – require pre-bookings, please contact us
(Seasonal March to August) Get set for an unforgettable day, as you head out to swim next to the biggest fish in the sea, the whale shark! This is truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience and one that you will never forget! Start the day with a reef snorkel, where you can explore the coral gardens and view beautiful fish. You may even spot a sea turtle or reef shark! Then experience the awe of swimming alongside the whale shark, which is typically 5-10m in length here! All equipment is provided, including a wet suit if required. Morning and afternoon tea and a delicious lunch are also included. (competent swimmers only)

Humpback Whale swim with Exmouth Dive [Day5 option] – require pre-bookings, please contact us
(Seasonal August to October) Join us for an unforgettable day out on the water. Start the day with a reef snorkel, where you can enjoy the beautiful coral gardens and fish. You may even spot some turtles or reef sharks! Then they’ll head out in search of humpback whales and whale sharks with the help of a spotter plane. The humpback whale swim is dependent on the willingness of the whales to be part of the tour. In the event the whales are uncooperative, the plane will search for another group. Should a whale shark be spotted on the day also, guests can upgrade their ticket to include a whale shark swim for an additional $110. All equipment is included as well as a wetsuit if required. Morning and afternoon tea and buffet-style lunch are supplied also. (competent swimmers only)

The tour commences from Perth on Day 1 at 7:25am and finishes in Perth on day 6 at approximately 10:00am
Ensure you pack appropriately for the season in which you are traveling, temperatures in Western Australia can be extreme from day to night.
Customers must notify us of special dietary requirements at least 48 hours prior to departure, there is limited options once the tour departs.
Travel insurance is compulsory for all international travellers and should be taken out prior to booking your tour.
We highly recommend you arrange optional extra activities in advance to avoid disappointment.
Passengers will need to bring 1.5L water bottle to use on walks.
This fare type accepts children 6 to 17 years old and must be accompanied by an adult or legal guardian. Not suitable for infants or children 5 years and under. (Child under 18 years old can't stay in Dorm room)
Accommodation includes 4-8 Shared dormitory style rooms and shared bathroom facilities (Double/Twin or Single rooms are Ensuite).
*Fare prices are per person for Adults or Children. Children aged between 6 and 17 years old are required to stay in a shared private room and must be accompanied by a legal guardian or adult. As 3 nights contain an ensuite, 3 nights are shared bathroom facilities. Not suitable for infants or children 5 years and under. Basic Dorm and Single Room fares apply to Adults 18+ over, with shared bathroom facilities. Private room upgrades are not available during WA school holidays.

Cancellation Policy

(a) Flexible Date Changes – unlimited supply of free date changes available up until 30-days prior to departure; or
(b) Cancel or Change : 14 to 30-days prior to departure: we will hold 100% of monies paid by you as credit voucher, valid for redemption within 3-years from date of purchase any credit voucher resulting from a cancellation may be applied towards any other tour operated by GLT within Australia; or
(c) Cancel or Change : 31-days or more prior to departure, we will refund 90% Fee , Only Charge 10% Service Fee
(d) failure to board on tour or cancelled within 14-days will result in full fare forfeiture of the ticket price and not eligible for a refund

NOTE: FIT TRAVEL would adopt suppliers' cancellation policy. Cancellation fees, if any by the suppliers, will be charged according to the supppliers' cancellation policy ( FIT TRAVEL does not charge additional cancellation fees ).
If the prodduct can be cancelled within a period of time, please email us at least 2 business days prior to this cancellation date to cancel the product, based on the tour local time zone.
If cancellation is successful, refund would be conducted within 7-28 days.
Cancellation notification needs to be formally replied receipt by us during our office hours as acknowledgement.
Once cancellation is confirmed, you will receive your refund within 14 business days. With this specific product's cancellation policy, the suppliers reserve the right of final interpretation.
