HISTORICAL ALICE TOUR HIGHLIGHTS

You’ll visit:

  • School of the Air – Provides education to primary school children living on remote properties throughout the Northern Territory.
  • Telegraph Station – The first European settlement in Alice Springs(originally Stuart). Learn how it relayed messages between Darwin and Adelaide for 150 years.
  • Royal Flying Doctor Service – Delivers medical services and emergency
    evacuation flights to those who live and work in remote rural Australia
  • Anzac Hill – An amazing view of Alice Springs with the Spectacular backdrop of the MacDonnell Ranges.

Transportation

Free coach pick up from hotels in Alice Spring , We leave Alice Springs at approximately 13:15pm and return to Alice Springs at around 5:30 pm.

  • What are the departure and return times?We leave at approximately 1:00 pm and return at around 5:30 pm.Can I bring my family?Yes. Children aged 2 years and over are welcome on our tour and are charged at a child rate.All travellers under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian who will be responsible for their care.What should I bring on the tour?
    • Proof of booking (can include the e-version delivered to your email)
    • Water bottle (at least 1 litre)
    • Strong, non-slip walking shoes
    • Hat (wide-brimmed is best)
    • Flynet

    • Sunscreen
    • Camera
    • Casual and comfortable clothing (cool, light clothing is best in summer and warm clothing for winter)
    • Travel pillow (we will be driving after nightfall)

    How many people are on each tour?

    We have a maximum of 21 people on each tour. You will travel in a comfortable air-conditioned bus.

    How fit do I have to be?

    There is a variety of short walks on this tour that can be enjoyed by all ages and fitness levels.

Cancellation Policy

15% surcharge if change or cancel after order is placed. No refund if cancel within 30days.
Noticed: If you would like to cancel, please kindly email us to cancel the tour at least 2 business days prior to this cancellation period. Once cancellation is confirmed, you will receive your refund within 7-28 business days.
Cancellation notification needs to be formally replied receipt by us during our office hours as acknowledgement.

NOTE: FIT TRAVEL would adopt suppliers' cancellation policy. Cancellation fees, if any by the suppliers, will be charged according to the supppliers' cancellation policy ( FIT TRAVEL does not charge additional cancellation fees ).
With this specific product's cancellation policy, the suppliers reserve the right of final interpretation.
If your order only pays the deposit of a product: a, if the product has available seats on the departure date and price and contents are the same as the order you placed, the booking would be confirmed by us without additional notification to you, and the deposit is not refundable. b, if the product has no available seats or price or contents are not the same, we might provide alternative options. If you do not agree with the options, the deposit is refundable.
