WHAT TO EXPECT

Your Day Begins With Check-In In Townsville Before Boarding The Vessel And Meeting The Poseidon Crew. After An Introduction, Safety Briefing And Overview Of The Day, The Vessel Will Depart Townsville And Make Its Way Towards Magnetic Island For Any Scheduled Passenger Pickups.

The Journey Out To The Great Barrier Reef Takes Approximately Two To Two And A Half Hours, Depending On The Reef Location, Weather And Sea Conditions.

Once At The Reef, Guests Will Have Approximately Three To Four Hours To Explore And Snorkel Across Different Reef Locations Selected By The Skipper For The Conditions On The Day. Swim Above Colourful Coral Gardens, Discover Tropical Marine Life And Experience Different Sections Of The Great Barrier Reef.

Lunch Will Be Served During The Day, With Time To Relax Aboard The Vessel Between Snorkelling Sessions And Take In The Incredible Reef Surroundings. A Light Afternoon Tea Will Also Be Provided Later In The Day.

Following The Final Snorkelling Session, The Vessel Will Begin The Return Journey Towards Magnetic Island And Townsville.

Participation Requirements

Participants must be able to understand and communicate in English.
Participants must be able to swim confidently while wearing a life jacket.
Snorkelling locations, the number of snorkel stops (up to two), walking tracks and the tour route are subject to weather, wind, swell, tides and sea conditions on the day.
Management reserves the right to modify the itinerary, route, snorkelling stops or tour timing to ensure guest safety and provide the best possible experience.
The tour includes up to two snorkelling experiences, where experienced guides will introduce the biodiversity of the Great Barrier Reef and its marine life.
A guided island walk may include opportunities to spot wild koalas and visit the WWII bunker ruins, subject to conditions on the day.
Guests should be comfortable in and around the water and prepared for an active adventure-style tour.
Children must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times.
Marine life and wildlife sightings are common but cannot be guaranteed.
Sea conditions may vary from calm to choppy, and the boat ride can be fast-paced, exciting and occasionally wet depending on the conditions.
Please follow all instructions provided by the skipper and tour guides throughout the tour for your safety.

Cancellation Policy

15% surcharge if change or cancel after order is placed. No refund if cancel within 7days.
Noticed: If you would like to cancel, please kindly email us to cancel the tour at least 2 business days prior to this cancellation period. Once cancellation is confirmed, you will receive your refund within 7-28 business days.
Cancellation notification needs to be formally replied receipt by us during our office hours as acknowledgement.
