Your experience starts with approximately 30 minutes of ground theory and pre-flight briefing, where your professional flight instructor will introduce you to the basic principles of helicopter flying, aircraft controls and safety procedures.

After the briefing, board an air-conditioned Robinson R44 helicopter equipped with dual controls. With your qualified instructor beside you, take to the skies and experience the excitement of flying the helicopter yourself under professional supervision.

During the approximately 30-minute flight, practise the basic helicopter controls while enjoying aerial views of Brisbane's southern suburbs and surrounding landscapes. The experience also includes a low-level flight demonstration by your instructor.

Take your first helicopter flying experience to the next level with an extended 60-minute Trial Introductory Flight from Archerfield Airport.

Start with approximately 30 minutes of ground theory, covering helicopter flight fundamentals, basic controls, safety procedures and what to expect once airborne.

Then climb aboard an air-conditioned Robinson R44 helicopter and take your seat at the controls. Under the guidance of a qualified flight instructor, you will have the opportunity to experience flying the helicopter yourself, putting the basic principles introduced during your briefing into practice.

With approximately 60 minutes in the air, this extended experience allows more time to become familiar with the helicopter's controls and enjoy a wider variety of landscapes around the greater Brisbane region. Your instructor will also demonstrate low-level helicopter flying techniques during the flight.
