Standing on a bald rocky cliff, this working lighthouse marks the easternmost point of the Australian continent. Built in 1901 visitors can walk on the headland, get their bearings and spot wildlife. The lighthouse is situated 3 kilometres northeast of the township of Byron Bay.

  • Approximately 4.5 hours (dependent on weather and road conditions) in Byron Bay township to surf, shop, swim, snorkel, and hike before departure at 3.30 pm.
  • This product includes hotel pick-up and drop-off in the Gold Coast city. Please indicate the name of the hotel you are staying in when booking. The pick-up time and specific location will be informed after booking. The specific pick-up time varies with different hotels (only for urban hotels: Surfers Paradise, Broad Beach, Main Beach, and Southport)
  • Very few hotels will require you to wait at a nearby location due to inconvenient parking and other reasons. For details, please refer to the e-ticket we will send you after your reservation is confirmed.
  • Please arrive at the designated location 10-20 minutes in advance to pick up the bus

  • Child Fares - These apply to children 3 to 14 years inclusive (Brisbane’s Best, Brisbane City sights morning tour, Brisbane afternoon at Lone Pine & Mt Coot-tha lookout and Theme Parks are 3 to 13 years old). Infants aged under 3 are free unless otherwise stated (Fraser Island trip full child fare).
  • Concession Fares - $5 off Full Day Tours valid for Pension, Seniors Card Holders and Backpackers.
  • We reserve the right to substitute coaches and operators where necessary.
  • Itineraries - Subject to change without notice. Limited tours operate on Easter long weekend, Anzac Day and Christmas Day. JPT Tour Group reserves the right to cancel tours and amend fares, itineraries and days of operation at short notice.
  • Additional departure days are available on most tours, subject to numbers.
  • A low level of fitness needed
  • English and Japanese-speaking guides available
  • Tour does not operate on Anzac Day, Good Friday, Christmas Day, Boxing Day, Easter holiday, first and last day of Byron Bay Blues Festival.

Cancellation Policy

Free Cancellation if cancel outside 7days. No refund if cancel within 7days.
Noticed: If you would like to cancel, please kindly email us to cancel the tour at least 2 business days prior to this cancellation period. Once cancellation is confirmed, you will receive your refund within 7-28 business days.
Cancellation notification needs to be formally replied receipt by us during our office hours as acknowledgement.

NOTE: FIT TRAVEL would adopt suppliers' cancellation policy. Cancellation fees, if any by the suppliers, will be charged according to the supppliers' cancellation policy ( FIT TRAVEL does not charge additional cancellation fees ).
With this specific product's cancellation policy, the suppliers reserve the right of final interpretation.
If your order only pays the deposit of a product: a, if the product has available seats on the departure date and price and contents are the same as the order you placed, the booking would be confirmed by us without additional notification to you, and the deposit is not refundable. b, if the product has no available seats or price or contents are not the same, we might provide alternative options. If you do not agree with the options, the deposit is refundable.
