Hot air balloon flights over the Avon Valley offer a truly magical experience and are the only commercial hot air balloon flights in Western Australia.
As the sun rises, golden light washes over rolling hills, the winding Avon River, and vast canola fields during springtime. Flights operate from Northam, located just over an hour from Perth.

This is a seasonal ballooning experience, operating from April to early November each year. During summer, conditions become too hot and windy for safe flying, making the cooler months ideal for ballooning.

Beyond its natural beauty, the Avon Valley is rich in history. Nearby towns such as Toodyay and York were among Western Australia’s earliest inland settlements, known for heritage architecture, charming cafés, and country character — all best appreciated from the air.

This all-inclusive morning experience begins with a transfer from Perth, includes a spectacular sunrise balloon flight, and concludes with a gourmet buffet breakfast followed by a scenic return journey.
