Experience the ultimate zoofari at Taronga Western Plains Zoo in Dubbo! Whether you walk, drive your own car, or ride around the Zoo's five-kilometre circuit on hired bikes or carts, there's so much to see and do.

The Zoo is home to hundreds of rare and endangered animals including giraffes, rhinos, elephants and big cats. Daily keeper activities (included in zoo entry) and special tours and Animal Encounters deliver magical experiences you will never forget.

Tickets are valid for two consecutive days, giving you ample time to experience all that is on offer. The Zoo's free access Welcome Plaza includes a shop, playground and cafe overlooking the Savannah Lake and Primate Island, home to Black-handed Spider Monkeys and Ring-tailed Lemurs

Savannah Safari (Add on)

• Climb aboard our Savannah Safari truck to experience a unique guided tour amongst herds of African animals including Giraffe, Rhinos, Ostrich and antelope.
• Daily from 10am-12pm
• Duration: 15 minutes

Billabong Camp (Click Me)

• Stay overnight at the Zoo! Our quality tent accommodation forms a permanent camping area by a billabong under the stars. Experience up close animals encounters, evening and morning tours. Includes afternoon nibbles, BBQ dinner,supper and breakfast. Both non –alcoholic and alcoholic beverages are available for purchase at the site.
• Check-in at Billabong camp available from 3.30pm
• Formal Program/ Activities begins at 5.30pm
• Program finishes approx 9.00am the following morning
• * Also includes two day Zoo entry
• Min 1 pax per tent (single supplement applies) Max 3 adults per tent
• Children under 5 are not permitted
• This is a hosted program operated as a group. The itinerary is not able to be amended and all components are presented in English.

Zoofari Lodge (Click Me)

Nestled behind the African Savannah at Taronga Western Plains Zoo in Dubbo, Zoofari Lodge comprises of 15 unique African-style
lodges. For the ultimate wild experience stay in one of the Animal View lodges. Recently constructed these safari-style lodges feature
African-inspired decor with a king size bed, double bath and overlook a paddock in which Giraffe, Zebra and Antelope roam. Guests
can sit back and relax on their deck as they watch the sunrise and see the animals meander across the savannah. All accommodation
includes private ensuite, coffee and tea making facilities, mini-bar, fridge and shaded veranda with outdoor furniture.
