Home to our Dugong, a beautiful animal which legend has it were mistaken for mermaids by early European sailors arriving in Australia's waters. Pig can be seen from above and in the viewing tunnels below. Dugong Island also hosts a range of other amazing animals, including White Spotted Eagle Rays, Bamboo Sharks and dozens of species of fish.

Set amongst this beached shipwreck environment you can discover a vast array of animals native to the Southern Oceans. This zone is home to our incredibly popular colony of Little Penguins, who can be seen darting through the water and waddling across the beach while going about their very important little penguin business.
Here, among the stilted piers and platform decks you'll discover animals that are native to one of the most iconic harbours in the world. With over 600 species of fish inhabiting its depths, Sydney Harbour is a vital link in the ecology of the coastline and our themed zone provides a snapshot of what lies beneath - it's as beautiful as above the surface!
Jurassic Seas takes you into the depths of the ocean to see where life began and meet weird and wonderful living fossils. Learn about evolution and discover the mysterious hagfish, lungfish, Moray Eel and mudskipper.

To get to the SEA LIFE aquarium by car using a Sat Nav use our address and it will bring you straight here: 1-5 Wheat Rd, Sydney NSW 2000.
We have several parking options close to the aquarium, using one of our partner's you can save money by getting your ticket validated in the shop as you exit the attraction. Present your parking ticket to the gift shop attendant and they will validate it for you.
A short walk from Town Hall or Wynyard stations. Head for King Street from Wynyard or Market Street from Town Hall and then walk west down the hill towards Darling Harbour.
Public ferry services to Darling Harbour depart from Circular Quay Wharf 5 about every half an hour.

If you're on the Big Bus Sydney, hop off at the SEA LIFE Sydney Aquarium stop on Wheat Road, under the foot bridge.
Alternatively, hop off any bus service that drops near Market Street or King Street and take the short walk down the hill to Darling Harbour.
Ask to be dropped at King Street Wharf or at the rear of Cockle Bay Wharf.
Exit the light rail from either the Convention Centre or Pyrmont Bay stations.
5-10 minute walk from CBD down Market Street or King Street.
