 About the Reef Quest Vessel

Our newest and most luxurious vessel, the Reef Quest, is fully licensed to carry 130 passengers. However, to ensure comfort and a premium experience, we are limiting capacity to 80 guests per trip.

Important Tour Note

  • The Outer Reef Snorkeling Adventure Tour is only suitable for guests aged 6 years and older.
  • For safety reasons, strong swimming ability is required for participation in snorkeling activities.

Tour Exclusions

  • Alcoholic beverages (licensed bar onboard, BYO not permitted)

  • Scuba diving (available at extra cost, booking required)
  • Travel insurance (strongly recommended)
  • Transfers from non-listed accommodations
  • Childcare or supervision (tour is only suitable for ages 6 and above)

Things to Note

  • All-inclusive prices are listed in AUD (Australian Dollars).
  • Participation is not recommended for children under 6 years old. However, children under 6 may be permitted on the tour with prior approval, and some restrictions will apply for water activities. Children under 6 must bring their own life jacket.
  • This tour is recommended for confident swimmers with prior snorkeling experience.
  • At least one person in the booking group must be fluent in English, and all participants must have the ability to swim at least 100 meters unassisted. This is a safety requirement—participants need to understand instructions in English, learn how to snorkel in open water, and be aware of marine safety protocols. We require at least one group member to fully understand the safety briefing and guidance provided in English, and all guests must be capable swimmers.
  • Please note:
    Snorkeling is a physically demanding activity that requires a certain level of fitness and ability. Recently, some guests have arrived at the reef only to find they were unable to complete the snorkeling experience due to lack of physical readiness. While our crew will assist with mask and snorkel fitting, provide basic safety instructions, and help you into the water, the activity itself still requires individual capability. We kindly ask you to assess your fitness level before joining.
  • The restrictions listed in this document are based on the 2024 Snorkelling Code of Practice, approved under the Queensland 2011 Recreational Water Activities Safety Act. According to this regulation, any passenger who discloses a medical condition must complete the relevant health declaration form at check-in.

NOTE: FIT TRAVEL would adopt suppliers' cancellation policy. Cancellation fees, if any by the suppliers, will be charged according to the supppliers' cancellation policy ( FIT TRAVEL does not charge additional cancellation fees ).
With this specific product's cancellation policy, the suppliers reserve the right of final interpretation.
If your order only pays the deposit of a product: a, if the product has available seats on the departure date and price and contents are the same as the order you placed, the booking would be confirmed by us without additional notification to you, and the deposit is not refundable. b, if the product has no available seats or price or contents are not the same, we might provide alternative options. If you do not agree with the options, the deposit is refundable.
