What to know before you go

We stage lots of live performances, so venues are subject to availability at the time of your tour.
You’ll be on your feet for a guided tour, there are over 300 stairs, so flat comfortable shoes are recommended. Your feet will thank you!
If you have mobility concerns, you may wish to take a Mobility Access Tour.
We can’t store suitcases or large bags, however you can contact the nearest storage facility at [email protected]
Videoing is not allowed.
There are plenty of photo opportunities. Your tour guide will advise you if photos are not to be taken at any point.

Sydney Opera House - Welcome Centre

Visit our Welcome Centre to Check in your tour. The Welcome Centre is open daily will be open daily from 8:45 am to 5:00 pm (excluding Christmas Day and New Year's Eve). Please check in 20mins prior the tour.

Self-Drive

The Sydney Opera House Car Park, operated by Wilson Parking, is open and available to use. Wilson Parking offers discounted parking if you book ahead. Please see their website for details.

Public Transfer

Please check the Transport NSW website for the latest advice and information on travel. You can catch public transport (bus, train, ferry) to Circular Quay and enjoy a six min walk to the Opera House.

Things to Note

All prices are per person and in AUD (Australian dollars).
Admission is free for children under 4 years of age. Children aged 15 years and under must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
This tour may not be suitable for guests with reduced mobility, as it includes at least 200 steps.
Face masks are strongly recommended while inside the theatres and foyers, including during performances and tours. Please bring your own mask.
Guests must be able to understand the selected tour language. Refunds will not be provided if guests are unable to comprehend the tour commentary.

Important Information

Please arrive at the designated location at least 15 minutes before departure, as the tour departs on time.
Meals are not included for children under 4 years of age.
Please arrive at the meeting point at least 15 minutes before the selected time slot and leave personal belongings at the counter. Storage is unavailable for items larger than A4 size, and large luggage is not recommended.
Passengers who fail to arrive before the scheduled meeting time will be considered a no-show and will not be eligible for a refund.
Please present the FIT Travel voucher upon arrival. The Sydney Opera House confirmation number is displayed on the right-hand side of the voucher.
Venues visited are subject to Sydney Opera House performance schedules.
Mobile phones must be switched off or set to silent during the tour.
Photography and video recording are not permitted inside the Sydney Opera House. The tour guide will advise which areas allow photography.
Comfortable walking shoes are recommended, as the tour includes at least 200 steps.

Cancellation Policy

Free Cancellation if cancel outside 7days. No refund if cancel within 7days.
Noticed: If you would like to cancel, please kindly email us to cancel the tour at least 2 business days prior to this cancellation period. Once cancellation is confirmed, you will receive your refund within 7-28 business days.
Cancellation notification needs to be formally replied receipt by us during our office hours as acknowledgement.

NOTE: FIT TRAVEL would adopt suppliers' cancellation policy. Cancellation fees, if any by the suppliers, will be charged according to the supppliers' cancellation policy ( FIT TRAVEL does not charge additional cancellation fees ).
