Itinerary

Avoid the crowds on this relaxed exploration of the Blue Mountains. Experience the changing moods of the region in the late afternoon light and watch the sunset over rugged ranges and valleys. Designed to avoid Sydney's peak-hour traffic, this tour features later departures and returns, allowing more time to enjoy the stunning scenery and native forests.

With a late morning departure, there is extra time to explore Sydney before travelling to one of the world's most spectacular World Heritage-listed national parks. Located approximately 50 kilometres from Sydney CBD, the Blue Mountains is home to a diverse range of flora and fauna and is rich in Aboriginal heritage. This rugged mountain range is known for its unique sandstone formations, steep cliffs and dramatic landscapes. Vast eucalyptus forests create the distinctive blue haze that gives the region its name.

Explore the spectacular Jamison Valley, renowned for its sweeping valley and canyon views. Get up close to the iconic Three Sisters and follow impressive bush trails towards one of New South Wales' most breathtaking waterfalls. As the day draws to a close, watch the sun set behind the distant mountains, casting long shadows across the rock formations and eucalyptus forests.

On the journey back to Sydney, stop for dinner before heading out in search of kangaroos. Many of Australia's native animals are most active at dusk, providing an opportunity to observe wildlife in its natural environment.

Children must be supervised at all times and remain on marked tracks and designated visitor areas.

A moderate level of fitness is required. Some areas of Blue Mountains National Park feature rocky terrain and steep walking tracks, including sections around Wentworth Falls and the Jamison Valley.

Swimming is not permitted.

Meals are not included on this tour.

Guests will have the opportunity to purchase food and drinks from cafés and shops in the Blue Mountains during designated stops. Guests are also welcome to bring their own food.

How much luggage can I bring?

Guests are asked to bring only a small day pack or hand luggage, as storage space on the vehicle is limited.

Suitcases and large backpacks should be stored at accommodation providers or luggage storage facilities before joining the tour.
