Passenger Ferry

The SeaLink passenger ferry provides a comfortable 25-minute journey to North Stradbroke Island. Enjoy lounge seating, a café, large scenic windows, and restrooms on board. Walk-on passengers are welcome on both the passenger and vehicle ferry services. Please arrive 15 minutes before departure.

Drive your car onto the SeaLink vehicle ferry for a 45-minute trip. After parking, relax in the comfortable lounge areas, visit the café, and take in the scenic views. When booking, specify your departure time, license plate number, vehicle type, and other details. Large vehicles must be declared in advance. Follow the blue lines and signs to the check-in window, where friendly staff will assist you.

Bookings are required.

Standard Vehicle Return fares apply only to standard cars up to 5.4m long, allowing 1 sedan or hatchback car with up to 5 passengers. If your vehicle is a different type, please notify us, as the price will change and a surcharge may apply.

Both vehicle ferries are fully air-conditioned and have a licensed cafe on board. The Minjerribah has lift access to the on-board cafe. Timetables and vessels are subject to change without notice.

Passenger Ferry

The SeaLink passenger ferry journey is approximately 25 minutes. For passengers being dropped off to the passenger ferry we are located at 3-12 Emmett Drive. Please note that there are 2 passenger ferries that operate to North Stradbroke Island, departing from Toondah Harbour, the SeaLink passenger ferry terminal is the second ferry terminal.

Transportation

Getting to North Stradbroke Island

North Stradbroke Island is easily accessible by SeaLink passenger or vehicle ferry, with regular services operating from Cleveland. SeaLink North Stradbroke Island is located at 12 Emmett Drive, Cleveland (Toondah Harbour).

Toondah Harbour Carpark

There are public car parking spaces in the vicinity of Toondah Harbour. Some areas have parking time restrictions or are for boat trailers therefore it is vital to check the signage carefully to avoid a parking fine.

During busy times such as school holidays or long weekends parking can be hard to find so if you are able, get a lift to the terminal, or arrive early to allow time to find a car park.

  • Prices are valid until 31 March 2025. All prices and departure times are subject to change without notice.
  • Passenger tickets can be booked at any time (it is recommended to place your order at least 24 hours in advance).
  • Vehicle ferry tickets need to be booked 7 days in advance (a ferry can carry a maximum of 25 cars at a time). During peak season, it is recommended to book 10 days in advance. When booking, please specify the ferry departure time in advance.

  • Flexible Fares are subject to change based on the date and time of travel until booked and paid.
  • SeaLink North Stradbroke Island use a flexible fare structure similar to an airline. We offer brilliant value on fares for customers that are able to travel off-peak. To get an off-peak fare, booking as far in advance as possible is recommended as the prices can change based on demand / how many spaces are currently reserved on the journey. Public holidays, school holidays, Fridays and Sundays are usually excluded from these cheaper fares as they are the busiest times to travel. When making a vehicle booking, all available departures and fares will be displayed in the journey planner once you enter your travel dates and vehicle details. Buy your passenger ferry online and go any time. Passenger tickets are valid for 365 days from the purchase date.
  • Standard Car - up to 5.4m long and under 2m wide.
  • Large Car /4WD - from 5.5m to 6.4m long and under 2m wide. Surcharge applied
  • Trailer / Caravan (per metre) Surcharge applied
  • Please ensure you accurately measure your trailer before booking space on the vehicle ferry.

Cancellation Policy

No refund if cancel after order is placed.

NOTE: FIT TRAVEL would adopt suppliers' cancellation policy. Cancellation fees, if any by the suppliers, will be charged according to the supppliers' cancellation policy ( FIT TRAVEL does not charge additional cancellation fees ).
With this specific product's cancellation policy, the suppliers reserve the right of final interpretation.
If your order only pays the deposit of a product: a, if the product has available seats on the departure date and price and contents are the same as the order you placed, the booking would be confirmed by us without additional notification to you, and the deposit is not refundable. b, if the product has no available seats or price or contents are not the same, we might provide alternative options. If you do not agree with the options, the deposit is refundable.
