Experience the award-winning Lady Musgrave HQ, a world-class eco-pontoon floating in the calm, turquoise waters of Lady Musgrave Island Lagoon. This is a must-do adventure when visiting Bundaberg and the Southern Great Barrier Reef.
This cutting-edge pontoon is the hub for unforgettable day tours and overnight stays. Dive straight into the reef from snorkel and dive platforms, hop aboard our high-speed dive boat or the glass bottom boat, and cruise in style on the luxury catamaran Reef Empress.
Designed with sustainability at its core, Lady Musgrave HQ was constructed using the the world’s most eco-friendly build. Powered entirely by wind and solar, it also supports coral restoration and Citizen Science programs beneath the surface to give back to the reef it calls home.
For a truly unforgettable experience, overnight guests can choose to sleep under the stars in an Upper Deck Queen Glamping Bed or drift off underwater in a cozy bunk inside the Underwater Observatory.

Itinerary

Day 1 – Bundaberg → Lady Musgrave HQ

Check in at Bundaberg Port Marina.

07:30
Depart aboard the luxury high-speed catamaran Reef Empress.

Enjoy:

Arrive at Lady Musgrave HQ.

Spend the day enjoying:

A chef-prepared lunch is served onboard.

Day 2 – Great Barrier Reef Experience

Wake up to sunrise over the reef.
Enjoy breakfast before another morning exploring the lagoon.

Lunch is served before boarding the catamaran.
Cruise back to Bundaberg.
Approx. 5:00 pm
Arrive back at Bundaberg Port Marina.

  • Please note all pricing includes all fees in AUD (Fuel Levy & GST inclusive).
  • All tours are subject to weather conditions. The safety and well-being of our guests and team remain our priority. If a tour is cancelled due to weather, be assured that you’ll have the option to re-book when it suits you. We do recommend taking out travel insurance as this may assist in covering accommodation and travel costs if this needs to be cancelled.
  • All tours are subject to weather and minimum numbers and may be changed without notice due to conditions on the day and will incur no liability for any such cancellation or alteration. Lady Musgrave Experience reserves the right to substitute vessels if necessary.
  • Failure to arrive on time or board on the morning of travel will result in a full forfeit of your fare.
  • RECOMMENDATION: Travel insurance Coverage may assist in covering your accommodation costs or fees incurred if tours are cancelled.

  • Please pack in a soft overnight bag (large suitcases are not suitable).
  • Bring swimwear, towel, reef-safe sunscreen and warm clothing for the evening.
  • Bring personal toiletries and medications.
  • Reef shoes or sandals are recommended.
  • Optional scuba diving is available (additional charge).
  • Turtle Nesting & Hatchling Tours operate seasonally (October–April).
  • Wildlife encounters are natural and cannot be guaranteed.
  • Tour operates subject to weather and sea conditions.

Cancellation Policy

10% surcharge if change or cancel after order is placed. No refund if cancel within 3days.
Noticed: If you would like to cancel, please kindly email us to cancel the tour at least 2 business days prior to this cancellation period. Once cancellation is confirmed, you will receive your refund within 7-28 business days.
Cancellation notification needs to be formally replied receipt by us during our office hours as acknowledgement.

NOTE: FIT TRAVEL would adopt suppliers' cancellation policy. Cancellation fees, if any by the suppliers, will be charged according to the supppliers' cancellation policy ( FIT TRAVEL does not charge additional cancellation fees ).
With this specific product's cancellation policy, the suppliers reserve the right of final interpretation.
