Journey with us to the Grampians or Gariwerd, one of Australia’s ancient and spectacular mountain ranges. Enjoy the breathtaking views and amazing landscapes. Learn and appreciate the rich Aboriginal heritage. Encounter native wildlife and the fascinatingly lush vegetation of the Grampians National Park. In this Grampians Tour, witness the spectacles of sandstone ridges, rugged mountain ranges, panoramic views, picturesque waterfalls, and bustling plant and animal life.

Travel into the heart of the Grampians National Park, one of the world’s oldest and most spectacular mountain ranges. Rich in Aboriginal history & cultural significance surrounded by an abundance of Australian wildlife, and seriously breath-taking scenery. Enjoy bushland hiking trails with the best lookout views the Grampians National Park has to offer. One of the world’s oldest and most spectacular mountain ranges, rich in Aboriginal history, and with an abundance of wildlife, the Grampians are sure to leave you in awe. En route to the Grampians stops at the township of Beaufort for refreshments.

As you drive through the Grampians your experienced guide will point out our unique wildlife, including kangaroos, emus and a vast array of birdlife and seasonal native wildflowers. Travel straight into the heart of the Grampians National Park to the delightful town of Halls Gap, then off to stretch those legs with a walk through the breathtaking scenic vistas.

You stop for a break in Halls Gap in the heart of the Grampians for lunch (at the guest’s own expense) before a visit to Brambuk the National Park & Cultural Centre. This Centre brings to life the amazing history, art, and culture of the local aboriginal communities. Hike to the remarkable Jaws of Death and Balconies Lookout experiencing majestic views and scenery, featured in the famous Japanese Animation ‘Princess Mononoke’. Follow the steep trail to the base of the falls, one of Australia’s most inspiring waterfalls, MacKenzie Falls (alternatively Silverband Falls or Beehive Falls). Returning to Melbourne, stopping along the way for dinner (at the guest’s own expense).

  • What to bring:
    1L refillable water bottle, photo ID, sunscreen, hat, sunglasses, comfortable shoes, all-weather clothing, camera, spending money to buy local produce, and small day pack 5-7kg.

What is a suitable age for this tour?

Child policy for this tour is 6 years old and over, due to the nature of this tour, it’s not suitable for infants or children 5 years and under. Children must be supervised at all times and guests are to keep to the marked tracks and designated visitor areas.

Is lunch provided on this tour?

Meals are not provided on this tour. We believe it is important for our trips to support the local economy, so guests are able to explore the cafes and shops in Halls Gap during our lunch stop.  Alternatively, guests can bring through own food.

How much luggage can I bring on tour?

We ask that guests travelling on day trips bring small day packs and hand luggage only as we have limited storage onboard our vehicles. Suitcases and large backpacks must be put in storage at your hotel or bus station lockers prior to boarding our vehicles.

How many people are on this tour?

We operate this tour with a maximum of 23 passengers, our vehicles are 24-seater Mitsubishi Rosa buses. This vehicle makes for a safe & comfortable journey (air-conditioned), with large passenger windows for unobstructed views.

How fit do I need to be for this tour?

A moderate level of fitness is required to complete the walks, some areas of the Grampians National Park consist of rocky terrain and steep walking tracks such as the walk to the base of MacKenzie Falls. Swimming is not permitted at MacKenzie Falls.

    能理解距離墨爾本三小時車程的地方，安排在一日遊裡面，會是屬於走馬看花，想深入了解的朋友，可能會失望。走的路線通常是通往觀景台，如果當天天氣不好，基本上什麼都看不到；瀑布也是，如果上游被控制水量，你會覺得大老遠跑來這裡只是看到這些，不是那麼值得；尋找野生動物的時候，會踏入充滿著動物便便的大草原，不能忍受的朋友千萬別參加，但不可否認格蘭坪國家公園超級美、超級壯觀。
