Imagine starting the day feeling the warmth of flames gently inflating the balloon, the thrill of seeing the sun rise over legendary city landmarks, floating peacefully above the Yarra River, followed by a sparkling buffet breakfast at the 5 star Pullman Melbourne on the Park hotel.

1.Flight Only

Insta-worthy and truly a once-in-a-lifetime flight! Melbourne is the only major city in the world that you can commercially hot air balloon over.
Approximately 3-3.5hrs, including: driving to the launch site, setting up/packing down the balloon, the approx. 1hr flight and driving back to the meeting place.

2.Flight & Breakfast

Float by landmarks from a bird’s eye view & top off this ultimate ‘truly Melbourne experience with a sparkling buffet breakfast at the Pullman Melbourne on the Park. Approximately 4-4.5hrs, including: driving to the launch site, setting up/packing down the balloon, the approx. 1hr flight, driving back to the meeting place and finishing off with breakfast!

Discounted undercover parking is available at the meeting place (Pullman Melbourne on the Park hotel – 192 Wellington Parade, East Melbourne) up until 11am at a rate of $10. Please see the concierge after your flight to pay for your parking. Note: After 11am, the full day parking rate will apply.

Things to Note

All per person prices quoted are in Australian dollars and valid from 1st April 2023 to 31st March 2024.
This package is refundable less a $25 admin fee.
MELBOURNE FLIGHTS – will be temporarily suspended in July & Aug 2023: This is to advise that our Melbourne flights will be temporarily suspended for 8 weeks from 1 July to 31 August 2023.This is generally due to poor weather conditions in the city during this time of year. We will of course be flying until the end of June and then resuming flights from 1^st September onwards.
For our Melbourne flight, we do have an accessible basket with a door and a seat inside that holds 10 passengers (with a maximum of 2 passengers able to be seated).It is not guaranteed that we use this basket each morning we fly; therefore, it is your responsibility to enquire prior to booking to ensure it is available & that we hold this for you once you have a confirmed booking.You will be required to fill in and send back our Easy Access Basket terms and conditions which will be emailed to you on request.
This package is refundable less a small admin fee.
In the case of your flight being cancelled due to weather, you will have 12mths to rebook or can request a refund. Bookings held in the system for longer than 6mths are non-refundable.
This package is transferrable to other passengers.
If your flight is cancelled, the breakfast will not take place. The package will be rebooked as a whole.
Guest MUST download the Global Ballooning mobile app AND enter the Global Ballooning Booking I.D to access your booking – this is the ONLY way you’ll receive your flight update.

Make sure your notifications are switched ON in your phone settings so you can receive updates.
You’ll receive a notification by 6pm the night before your flight. In case of an emergency, there is an after-hours online chat function available for you to message the Global Ballooning team.

Cancellation Policy

10% surcharge if change or cancel after order is placed. No refund if cancel within 7days.
Noticed: If you would like to cancel, please kindly email us to cancel the tour at least 2 business days prior to this cancellation period. Once cancellation is confirmed, you will receive your refund within 7-28 business days.
Cancellation notification needs to be formally replied receipt by us during our office hours as acknowledgement.

NOTE: FIT TRAVEL would adopt suppliers' cancellation policy. Cancellation fees, if any by the suppliers, will be charged according to the supppliers' cancellation policy ( FIT TRAVEL does not charge additional cancellation fees ).
With this specific product's cancellation policy, the suppliers reserve the right of final interpretation.
If your order only pays the deposit of a product: a, if the product has available seats on the departure date and price and contents are the same as the order you placed, the booking would be confirmed by us without additional notification to you, and the deposit is not refundable. b, if the product has no available seats or price or contents are not the same, we might provide alternative options. If you do not agree with the options, the deposit is refundable.
