  • Pickup: Selected Cairns CBD accommodations from 9:00 am
  • Check-in: Deeral at 10:00 am
  • Return: Deeral by 2:30 pm, arriving back in Cairns approximately 3:30 pm

Short on time but still want to experience the best of the reef? Our new Express Tour is perfect for those looking for a later start and an earlier return – ideal for families with young children, cruise ship passengers, or those who want to fit more into their Cairns itinerary.

Enjoy all the magic of Normanby Island and the Great Barrier Reef with core inclusions such as:

  • Time to swim, explore the island, or simply relax on the beach
  • Kayaks and stand-up paddleboards are available for use
  • Choice of one guided activity (semi-sub tour or guided beach snorkelling tour)

This express tour does not include the adventure snorkel safari, guided island walk or kids treasure hunt, and has an optional picnic lunch add-on, making it a more flexible, value-conscious option.

Transportation

  • Complimentary coach transfers from Cairns CBD hotels commence at 9.00 am
  • If you prefer to self-drive, please allow time for the drive and check in at Deeral by 10.00 am
  • The transfer vessel departs Deeral at 10.15 am and returns approximately 2.30 pm

Things to Note

  • ALL RATES ARE IN AUSTRALIAN DOLLARS, INCLUDE GST
  • Child Age: 4-16. Infants (0-3yrs) travel free but must be pre-booked.
  • For the  guests are booked for this cruise especially who wants to snorkelling. We require that at least one person of the group can understand the explanations in English and guidance of the Instructor and translate for the rest of the group and all guest will need to be able to swim for 100m.
  • Introductory dive experiences are not available on this Express Tour.
  • All bookings should include any lunch box requirements 24+ hours in advance.
  • Tour timing can be affected by tides and weather, so schedule flexibility is advised.
  • Transfers are limited to selected Cairns CBD accommodation locations — details to be provided closer to launch.

Cancellation Policy

Free Cancellation if cancel outside 24hours. No refund if cancel within 24hours.
Noticed: If you would like to cancel, please kindly email us to cancel the tour at least 2 business days prior to this cancellation period. Once cancellation is confirmed, you will receive your refund within 7-28 business days.
Cancellation notification needs to be formally replied receipt by us during our office hours as acknowledgement.

NOTE: FIT TRAVEL would adopt suppliers' cancellation policy. Cancellation fees, if any by the suppliers, will be charged according to the supppliers' cancellation policy ( FIT TRAVEL does not charge additional cancellation fees ).
With this specific product's cancellation policy, the suppliers reserve the right of final interpretation.
If your order only pays the deposit of a product: a, if the product has available seats on the departure date and price and contents are the same as the order you placed, the booking would be confirmed by us without additional notification to you, and the deposit is not refundable. b, if the product has no available seats or price or contents are not the same, we might provide alternative options. If you do not agree with the options, the deposit is refundable.
