Overview

Your adventure begins with a scenic train journey on the Kuranda Scenic Railway, winding through lush rainforests, cascading waterfalls, and historic tunnels.

Upon reaching the charming village of Kuranda, you'll have ample time to explore its vibrant markets, unique shops, and wildlife attractions. Immerse yourself in the local culture, sample delicious cuisine, and purchase handcrafted souvenirs.

Next, venture into the heart of the rainforest at Rainforestation Nature Park. Board an iconic Army Duck for a thrilling amphibious tour, encounter adorable koalas and other native wildlife, and learn about the region's rich biodiversity.

The day ends with a breathtaking Skyrail Rainforest Cableway journey, soaring above the rainforest canopy. Enjoy stunning panoramic views, pause at scenic lookout points, and visit the CSIRO Interpretive Centre to learn about the rainforest ecosystem.

The maintenance and closure schedule for the Skyrail Rainforest Cableway project is as follows, please take note: (During this period, please consider it as a round-trip train package)

  • Please note that there may be additional closure dates in 2024 that have not been confirmed yet. Once confirmed, we will provide updates on the website's announcement board.

Booking Information

  • It is highly recommended to reconfirm your booking on arrival in Cairns and confirm your hotel pick-up departure and pick-up time. For your information, complete Tour Operator Information including contact details included on your tour voucher
  • Confirmation in the form of a tour voucher will be received at time of booking
  • Upon completion of the purchase, please print the voucher and present it on the day of the tour. Vouchers presented on a mobile device are also accepted
  • Availability was accurate at the time of booking however, is subject to change due to circumstances out of our control. We strongly suggest reconfirming your booking with the tour operator within 24 hours of making your booking and before making other travel arrangements

Cancellation Policy

Free Cancellation if cancel outside 24hours. No refund if cancel within 24hours.
Noticed: If you would like to cancel, please kindly email us to cancel the tour at least 2 business days prior to this cancellation period. Once cancellation is confirmed, you will receive your refund within 7-28 business days.
Cancellation notification needs to be formally replied receipt by us during our office hours as acknowledgement.

NOTE: FIT TRAVEL would adopt suppliers' cancellation policy. Cancellation fees, if any by the suppliers, will be charged according to the supppliers' cancellation policy ( FIT TRAVEL does not charge additional cancellation fees ).

  1. 緊湊、豐富的自然及文化體驗

    1. 司機很準時的抵達飯店門口，但好像後面有客人遲到，等了10分鐘沒看到人，所以時間有點耽誤。
    2. 參加前天凱恩斯下了大雨，所以庫蘭達火車停駛，有點可惜。和FIT的同仁詢問退款事宜，隔天就確認完並說明會如何退費到我的帳戶，非常有效率且客氣。
    3. 正值雨季(? 瀑布水量很多，從纜車上俯瞰到步道上更近距離觀察都很舒服。纜車共有三站，所以可能遇到來自世界各地的旅客，和他們聊天、交換心得很有趣。
    4. 纜車最後一站可以逛市集，但因為距離前往雨林的接駁車僅有40分鐘，且中間可自行決定是否要逛蝴蝶園，時間很趕，應該可以再拉長。
    5. Army Duck的駕駛兼導遊非常有趣，沿路也會一直接紹原住民如何運用這些植物、哪些有毒、哪些是活化石等等，雖然許多名詞聽不動，但依然收穫良多。
    6. BBQ午餐無限量供應、味道不錯，約有一小時可以享用，14點鐘原住民文化體驗開始。
    7. 原住民文化體驗包含簡單演奏並介紹樂器、每人試完一次迴力鏢，但時間不多。
    8. Koala & Wildlife Park雖然不大，但澳洲特有的動物如無尾熊、DIGO、袋熊、袋鼠、樹袋鼠、鱷魚、蜥蜴等都有。遊客向工作人員詢問也都獲得豐富的解釋，也剛好遇到工作人員在給袋熊餵食”聖誕禮物”，看得出是一個友善的動物園。約有一小時可以遊覽，邊拍照邊看字牌介紹，時間有一點點趕，可能需要再多個10~15分鐘才足夠。
    總之遇到的司機都很友善、準時，庫蘭達的資源非常豐富，很值得好好了解，但可能因為接駁車的時間有限，且約18點太陽慢慢下山，所以每個景點的時間略顯緊湊。若火車沒有停駛，遊客可能更要趕火車，需要抓緊時間。

  2. 非常特別的體驗

    第一次體驗水路兩用軍車，在雨林內從陸地行駛進水裡，觀看不同風景，導遊也細心講解各種動植物，大廳還可以預約報名和考拉拍照，非常的療癒！
