Transportation

From Cairns and Northern Beaches:
Our luxury air-conditioned coaches tour Cairns and Northern Beaches passengers along one of Australia’s most beautiful scenic coastal drives with a full commentary. A pick-up service is available from your accommodation. Times will be advised upon confirmation of booking.

From Port Douglas:
Coach Transfers are available from your accommodation. Specific hotel transfer times will be advised at confirmation of booking.

Making your own way:
Check in time is 9.15am at the Quicksilver office, at the Port Douglas Marina on Wharf Street, Port Douglas. Parking is available free of charge at the Marina.

Things to Note

Itinerary & Pricing Information

  • All prices are quoted in Australian Dollars (AUD).
  • Minimum: 1 person to operate.
  • Cruise ticket: Infants under 4 years old are free of charge. Please advise the number of infants when booking.
  • Helicopter: Only infants under 3 years old may travel free of charge on the lap of a parent or guardian.
  • No refund will be provided if the semi-submarine or glass-bottom boat tour is cancelled due to weather or mechanical reasons.

Helicopter Weight & Infant Policy

  • The maximum single seat weight is 130 kg. Passengers exceeding this limit must purchase an additional seat at 50% of the ticket price, payable to Nautilus Aviation on the day of travel.
  • Infants aged 0–2 years may fly free of charge on the lap of a parent or guardian (limited to one infant per flight, must be advised at time of booking).
  • Passengers aged 3 years and above must occupy their own seat.
  • Each passenger’s weight must be advised at the time of booking.

Cancellation Policy (Great Barrier Reef Helicopter Package)

  • After confirmation: A 15% cancellation fee applies.
  • Within 74 hours of departure: 100% of the fare will be charged.

Free Cancellation if cancel outside 2days. No refund if cancel within 2days.
Noticed: If you would like to cancel, please kindly email us to cancel the tour at least 2 business days prior to this cancellation period. Once cancellation is confirmed, you will receive your refund within 7-28 business days.
Cancellation notification needs to be formally replied receipt by us during our office hours as acknowledgement.

NOTE: FIT TRAVEL would adopt suppliers' cancellation policy. Cancellation fees, if any by the suppliers, will be charged according to the supppliers' cancellation policy ( FIT TRAVEL does not charge additional cancellation fees ).
With this specific product's cancellation policy, the suppliers reserve the right of final interpretation.
If your order only pays the deposit of a product: a, if the product has available seats on the departure date and price and contents are the same as the order you placed, the booking would be confirmed by us without additional notification to you, and the deposit is not refundable. b, if the product has no available seats or price or contents are not the same, we might provide alternative options.
