Main Trail: On the Main Trail, you can stroll past our resident frogs, reptiles, mammals and birds. Check out the incredible conservation work at the World of Frogs, and see giraffes, meerkats, zebras and more. The Main Trail takes you past the Carousel Park and interactive experiences such as Keeper Kids and connects to both the main entrance and the rail gate.

Growing Wild: Little animal lovers are sure to go bananas over Growing Wild, our interactive play area designed especially for children aged three to eight. Here, kids can scamper beside meerkats, crawl inside a Giant Tortoise shell, and come face-to-face with Brush Turkeys, reptiles, insects and more. Young ones can explore the animals, sculptures, tunnels and sounds as they let their imaginations run wild.

Wild Sea: Go deep underwater at Wild Sea. This incredible space showcases the amazing animals and natural beauty of Victoria’s coast and ocean. Wander the beach with its sand dunes and pier, watch penguins play and seals frolic, and learn about our work to conserve these incredible sea animals in an immersive, family-friendly experience.

Gorilla Rainforest: Head deep into the jungles of Africa where lemurs roam, gorillas rule and tree-top apes and monkeys sing from the top of their lungs. You can also meet Melbourne Zoo's Pygmy Hippopotamus, the Cassowary and other animals along the way.

Australian Bush: Take an all Aussie adventure through the wild Australian bush. Say g’day to Southern Koalas, Tasmanian Devils, wombats, kangaroos and a whole range of native birdlife including, Red-tailed Black Cockatoos, parrots, honeyeaters and more. Learn all about these amazing animals, and discover a selection of Australia’s 20,000 flowering plants as you pass through this scenic trail.
