Your adventure begins with a relaxing, picturesque journey through the outback. You will be picked up from your Alice Springs accommodation around 6:45 AM to embark on our journey. If you’re starting from Uluru, we can arrange to pick you up at the airport (subject to flight arrival details) or Uluru Resort, with pickup at the resort scheduled for approximately 1:30 PM. Our first stop is at Erldunda Roadhouse, where you can enjoy a coffee break before we continue on our way. Next, we’ll drive to Yulara Town Square in Ayers Rock Resort, where you can have lunch at your leisure. In the afternoon, we’ll explore the Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park. You’ll have the opportunity to take short walks around the base of the magnificent Uluru, immersing yourself in the sacred traditions and stories of the Anangu people. One of the day’s highlights will be sipping drinks and savouring BBQ while watching the sunset on Uluru—a truly unforgettable experience. After the sun has dipped below the horizon, you’ll be taken to the Outback Pioneer Hotel for your overnight stay, where you can relax and reflect on your first day of this remarkable journey.
