Experience two stunning Great Barrier Reef islands in one day, each with its own unique charm. With commentary from expert marine biologists, you can snorkel vibrant coral gardens or glide over the reef on a glass bottom boat tour. This exclusive itinerary combines the laid-back vibe of Green Island with the rugged beauty of Fitzroy Island – perfect for travellers short on time but big on adventure!

🕘 Itinerary (8:30am – 5:00pm)

  • 08:30 – 09:15: Cruise from Cairns to Fitzroy Island
  • 09:15 – 11:45: Explore Fitzroy Island (2.5 hours)
  • 11:45 – 12:15: Cruise transfer to Green Island
  • 12:15 – 15:45: Explore Green Island (3.5 hours)
  • 15:45 – 17:00: Return cruise from Green Island to Cairns

🏝️ Tour Description

Your adventure begins at 8:30 am on board Aquarius II, cruising to Fitzroy Island for 2.5 hours of leisure time. Your package includes snorkelling gear to use at both islands, or you may swap this for a glass bottom boat tour (available at either island).
Feeling adventurous? Add on a Guided Snorkel Safari for a truly immersive reef encounter – or simply relax with a stroll along Fitzroy’s pristine beaches.

At 11:45 am, transfer to Green Island with informative commentary along the way. Once ashore, enjoy 3.5 hours to unwind, explore, or join optional extras such as the semi-submarine tour, another Snorkel Safari, or browsing the island’s shops and walking tracks.

For lunch, pre-book a fresh boxed lunch, or upgrade to the popular Big Cat tropical buffet.

Whether you’re marvelling at colourful marine life, lazing on sandy beaches, or soaking up expert island commentary, this Two Island Explorer is the ideal choice for travellers wanting the complete reef experience in just one day.

Cancellation Policy

Free Cancellation if cancel outside 3days. No refund if cancel within 3days.
Noticed: If you would like to cancel, please kindly email us to cancel the tour at least 2 business days prior to this cancellation period. Once cancellation is confirmed, you will receive your refund within 7-28 business days.
Cancellation notification needs to be formally replied receipt by us during our office hours as acknowledgement.

NOTE: FIT TRAVEL would adopt suppliers' cancellation policy. Cancellation fees, if any by the suppliers, will be charged according to the supppliers' cancellation policy ( FIT TRAVEL does not charge additional cancellation fees ).
