Whether you’re a seasoned sailor or a first-timer, you’ll have the opportunity to actively participate in the journey— learn the ropes with a short “learn to sail” session then help trim the sails and helm the boat. With a skilled crew to guide you, you’ll enjoy the thrill of sailing on one of the world’s most famous harbours, all while taking in breathtaking views of Sydney’s landmarks.

Try Yachting on Sydney Harbour hightlights

  • Sail on the iconic Sydney Harbour aboard Southwinds, a magnificent 61ft yacht
  • 2.5 hour experience from Barangaroo (transfer by powerboat)
  • Small-group exclusive experience (maximum 12 onboard)
  • Following a short learn to sail you’ll help set the sails and helm as we make our way around the harbour

  • Meet at Rowntree’s wharf, Nawi Cove. 5 mins walk from Crown Resort. Sydney
  • Pickup and drop off by powerboat (you need to be able to step up and down from a powerboat)

Things to Note

  • Participants must be able to safely board and disembark the powerboat.
  • Experience may be rescheduled or cancelled due to adverse weather conditions.
  • Wear comfortable windproof clothing and non-slip footwear.
  • Please arrive 10–15 minutes early at Rowntree’s Wharf (Nawi Cove).
  • Limited space onboard – small personal bags only.
  • Follow all instructions from the captain and crew for safety.

Cancellation Policy

10% surcharge if change or cancel after order is placed. No refund if cancel within 3days.
Noticed: If you would like to cancel, please kindly email us to cancel the tour at least 2 business days prior to this cancellation period. Once cancellation is confirmed, you will receive your refund within 7-28 business days.
Cancellation notification needs to be formally replied receipt by us during our office hours as acknowledgement.

NOTE: FIT TRAVEL would adopt suppliers' cancellation policy. Cancellation fees, if any by the suppliers, will be charged according to the supppliers' cancellation policy ( FIT TRAVEL does not charge additional cancellation fees ).
With this specific product's cancellation policy, the suppliers reserve the right of final interpretation.
If your order only pays the deposit of a product: a, if the product has available seats on the departure date and price and contents are the same as the order you placed, the booking would be confirmed by us without additional notification to you, and the deposit is not refundable. b, if the product has no available seats or price or contents are not the same, we might provide alternative options. If you do not agree with the options, the deposit is refundable.
