Discovery Rottnest Island offers several comfortable eco-tent options. Made from sustainable materials, all tents are fully furnished and have hardwood floors. Hard-walled ensuite bathrooms with showers include towels and amenities. There’s no need for air conditioning, as the zip-up windows and ceiling fans allow for natural air circulation. Prepare and store food during your stay in the kitchenette with a bar fridge (except Standard Tent). At night, sleep deeply in comfortable pillow-topped beds with quality linen.

Transportation

Perth ferry terminal

Ferries from Perth depart and arrive Pier 3 Barrack Street Jetty, Perth.

Reservations office opening hours: 8:30 am to 5:00 pm (subject to change without notice)

Getting here with public transport

The Elizabeth Quay Train Station & bus terminal is a 9 minute walk from Barrack Street Jetty. See the Transperth website for journey planner to help find the best public transport route.

Parking

You can find a limited number of paid parking bays at Barrack Street Jetty which are available for up to two or three hours at a time. If you need more time at Barrack Street Jetty you can find longer parking options at Terrace Road, Council House, Concert Hall and the Convention Centre. Please note that parking locations are limited. We recommend using public transport where possible.

Notices

  • Prices are per Room as per Couple/Group and valid for travel 1 April 2023 to 31 March 2025, for other dates please enquire.
  • Tour participants must arrive 60 minutes before departure for ferry loading requirements and passenger boarding. Due to loading requirements, check-in will close 30 minutes before departure, and boarding will end 15 minutes before departure. Rottnest Fast Ferries reserves the right to refuse passengers from boarding for not complying with the above check-in and boarding times.
  • Please note: This package includes third party components and therefore availability is not guaranteed. Our team will be in touch to reconfirm within 24 hours of booking.
  • Each passenger (excluding infants) is entitled to 1 x carry-on item no larger than than 600mm x 400mm x 300mm and 10kg
  • If passengers are checking in luggage, you will be required to check in at the ticketing office first to collect your luggage tags
  • The Company accepts no responsibility for loss of, or damage to luggage, or for consequential damages arising therefrom whether sustained during off-loading or transportation, and whether arising from negligence, malfunction of the vessel or other cause, except to the extent that the exclusion of such liability is prohibited by law. Fishing rods, bicycles (pedal and e-bike), e-Scooters, beach trolleys, paddle boards, kayaks, golf bags and other large or specialised items cannot be delivered by the RIA and must be collected by the owner from the jetty upon arrival at Rottnest. Items that are of an excessive size or weight may be refused at loading and will not be carried by SeaLink Rottnest Island. This is up to the discretion of the vessel crew at the time of boarding. In the interests of passenger and vessel safety, SeaLink Rottnest Island reserves the right to conduct a search of any luggage.
  • Carry-On Luggage: There is very limited storage space in the passenger cabins, so luggage taken onboard is stowed on a first in, first served basis. No luggage is allowed in the aisles, wheelchair spaces or any other area that may hinder a rapid evacuation.

Pricing is based on Departing from Perth

  • Rates are displayed as in Australian Dollars and include Goods & Services Tax (GST).
  • Rates are dynamic and subject to change without notice until paid in full.
  • Family Tent applies to Adults and Children 3 years or older.
  • Full passenger contact details inclusive of mobile contact must be provided at the time of booking.
  • Please allow up to 24 - 48hrs for confirmations.
  • Minimum stays and block-out dates may apply. **Availability is subject to change without notice
  • Children 0-2 years are permitted FOC using existing bedding.
  • Cot hire fee of $50 may apply if requested. Payable direct, Bedding requests and rooming allocations must be made at the time of booking and are subject to availability on a request basis only.

Cancellation Policy

25% surcharge if change or cancel after order is placed. No refund if cancel within 30days.
Noticed: If you would like to cancel, please kindly email us to cancel the tour at least 2 business days prior to this cancellation period. Once cancellation is confirmed, you will receive your refund within 7-28 business days.
Cancellation notification needs to be formally replied receipt by us during our office hours as acknowledgement.

NOTE: FIT TRAVEL would adopt suppliers' cancellation policy. Cancellation fees, if any by the suppliers, will be charged according to the supppliers' cancellation policy ( FIT TRAVEL does not charge additional cancellation fees ).
With this specific product's cancellation policy, the suppliers reserve the right of final interpretation.
If your order only pays the deposit of a product: a, if the product has available seats on the departure date and price and contents are the same as the order you placed, the booking would be confirmed by us without additional notification to you, and the deposit is not refundable. b, if the product has no available seats or price or contents are not the same, we might provide alternative options. If you do not agree with the options, the deposit is refundable.
