Looking to visit the multi-award winning UNESCO World Heritage Site Port Arthur? Want the added bonus of visiting some of the Tasman Peninsula highlights? Or simply just need transportation to the area? Then we have you covered!

Port Arthur and the Tasman Peninsula are a must see and one of Tasmania’s most popular tourist attractions. With its rich history and spectacular scenery on offer, it is easy to see why! Our popular tour allows you to experience it all. Jump aboard with one of our friendly, local drivers who will be keen to show you a fantastic day!

On route to Port Arthur, we will stop at Pirates Bay lookout to soak up the scenery and take a photo or two.Then it's on to the Dog Line monument at Eaglehawk Neck! The next stop will have the mouths of sweet tooth's watering as we visit the Tasmanian Chocolate Foundry. Following the chocolate factory, we will visit the beautiful Port Arthur Lavender Farm. Explore the unique handmade products made from Tasmanian Lavender and take a stroll around the scenic lavender trail. Up next is the Port Arthur Historic Site. Immerse yourself in the fascinating, rich and dark history of the best-preserved penal settlement in Australia. Admission is at own cost and entry fee will include a 20-minute harbour cruise. If history is what you came for, enjoy the full 4 hours exploring the historic site. If you are up for one more experience, then you can hop back onboard the bus after 3 hours for a trip to the Remarkable Cave. Just a short 8-minute drive away, you will be greeted with the spectacular vista of Maingon Bay. At the lookout you can take in the exceptional views of Penguin Rocks and the bay. You can then descend down the 115 steps to view the Remarkable Cave from a viewing platform where you will be surrounded by ancient sandstone cliffs. We will then return back to the historic site to pick up the remaining passengers at 4pm and return to Hobart at 5:30pm.

  • To book a one way Bus ticket,  "ONEWAY" Would be $44 per person , Please contact us.
  • Historic Site Entry fees are not included.
  • This is a scheduled shuttle service. If you are late to your pickup point in either Hobart or Port Arthur the bus cannot wait. There will be no refunds for missed buses.
  • If you would like to pre book tours at Port Arthur please go direct to Port Arthur Historic site, we do not sell site entry tickets unless you are a group booking of 6 or more. There are many tours and packages to choose from. Any tours booked must fit in with the 12pm arrival and the 4pm departure.
  • Please indicate if you are carrying excess baggage.
  • No tickets are sold at any of the stops. You MUST pre-purchase your ticket and select a pick up location. There are no sales at any of the stops.
  • Please make sure you give yourself plenty of time to arrive at your pickup location.

What to bring

  • A variety of warm clothing, beanie/hat/gloves
  • Weatherproof jacket if possible
  • Hat/Sunscreen
  • Water Bottle, Snacks, Lunch (or buy it on the day)

Cancellation Policy

Free Cancellation if cancel outside 24hours. No refund if cancel within 24hours.
Noticed: If you would like to cancel, please kindly email us to cancel the tour at least 2 business days prior to this cancellation period. Once cancellation is confirmed, you will receive your refund within 7-28 business days.
Cancellation notification needs to be formally replied receipt by us during our office hours as acknowledgement.

NOTE: FIT TRAVEL would adopt suppliers' cancellation policy. Cancellation fees, if any by the suppliers, will be charged according to the supppliers' cancellation policy ( FIT TRAVEL does not charge additional cancellation fees ).
With this specific product's cancellation policy, the suppliers reserve the right of final interpretation.
If your order only pays the deposit of a product: a, if the product has available seats on the departure date and price and contents are the same as the order you placed, the booking would be confirmed by us without additional notification to you, and the deposit is not refundable. b, if the product has no available seats or price or contents are not the same, we might provide alternative options. If you do not agree with the options, the deposit is refundable.
