Visit the grand Melbourne Skydeck and set foot in the fastest elevator in the Southern Hemisphere. It  only takes 38 seconds to reach the observatory on atop the 88th floor. Feast your eyes on the panoramic view of Melbourne, and search for iconic landmarks such as Mount Dandenong, Yarra River, and Port Phillip City.

Seize the opportunity to go to The Edge, a cage-like lookout extended from the main building with a see-through glass floor where you can look straight down onto Melbourne's busy city streets.

There is the view, then there is standing 88 floors above Southbank with nothing but a transparent glass beneath you. A world-first, Edge suspends thrill seekers in a transparent glass cube that projects three metres out from the Skydeck, leaving guests suspended nearly 300 metres above the streets. This heart-pounding experience promises unforgettable memories with a complimentary digital Edge photo download.

Available daily from 12pm, this package can be purchased online or on arrival at Melbourne Skydeck. Please allow approximately 2 hours for this experience. No time slot is required.

  • Open daily from 12pm to 9pm, last entry 8:30pm (From October we will head into the daylight savings period which means we will be closing at 10.00pm daily - last entry 9.30pm).
  • Other Public holidays from 12pm to 9pm, last entry 8:30pm
  • Christmas Day (25/12/2024) and New Years Eve (31/12/2024) we will operate 12pm – 5pm (last entry 4.30pm).
How to Get There :

Things to Note

  • All per person prices quoted are in Australian dollars
  • Each paying adult may bring one child aged 4 and below for free. Please indicate the number and ages of eligible children in the "Note" section when booking and present the child's passport on the day of the tour for verification; failure to do the aforementioned will result in admission decline
  • Children aged 7 and under require an adult companion to access The Edge
  • Ticket includes access to Melbourne 3-D interactive model and Bar 88 (drinks and food are at your own expense)
  • Operating hours are subject to change, travelers are recommended to visit the official website before departure to check the operating info
  • Once a booking is confirmed, requests for alterations or cancellation will not be granted

Cancellation Policy

Free Cancellation if cancel outside 3days. No refund if cancel within 3days.
Noticed: If you would like to cancel, please kindly email us to cancel the tour at least 2 business days prior to this cancellation period. Once cancellation is confirmed, you will receive your refund within 7-28 business days.
Cancellation notification needs to be formally replied receipt by us during our office hours as acknowledgement.

NOTE: FIT TRAVEL would adopt suppliers' cancellation policy. Cancellation fees, if any by the suppliers, will be charged according to the supppliers' cancellation policy ( FIT TRAVEL does not charge additional cancellation fees ).
With this specific product's cancellation policy, the suppliers reserve the right of final interpretation.
If your order only pays the deposit of a product: a, if the product has available seats on the departure date and price and contents are the same as the order you placed, the booking would be confirmed by us without additional notification to you, and the deposit is not refundable. b, if the product has no available seats or price or contents are not the same, we might provide alternative options. If you do not agree with the options, the deposit is refundable.
