Transportation

Self-Drive Meet-Up:

Location: Peterson's Champagne House, corner of Broke Road and Wine Country Drive, Pokolbin (2457 Broke Rd, Pokolbin NSW 2320).
Arrival: Please arrive 10 minutes before your scheduled activity time.
Important: Late arrivals and no-shows are non-refundable.

Hunter Valley Local Transfer (Daily):

Pickup: Coach pickup from local Hunter Valley accommodation at 3:45 am.

Sydney CBD Transfer (Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday):

Departure: The coach departs Sydney at 3:00 am.
Pickup Points: Rydges Hotel World Square, Holiday Inn Darling Harbour, InterContinental Sydney, or Furama Darling Harbour (68 Harbour St, Haymarket NSW 2000).

Additional Details:
On arrival at Peterson's Champagne House, guests will be greeted by the pilot and crew. Complimentary cookies, coffee, or tea are provided during check-in and breakfast ordering. Guests may observe pre-flight preparations, including wind tests.
A pre-flight briefing is conducted before boarding the bus to the launch site.
Peterson's Champagne House is the designated meeting point and is conveniently located near Pokolbin, Lovedale, Rothbury, Mount View, and Cessnock (approximately 10 minutes away). Travel times from Broke, Maitland, or Singleton are around 30–35 minutes, and from Wollombi, approximately 50 minutes.

Age Eligibility: Participants must be 7 years or older.
Weight Limit: Participants must weigh between 0 kg and 140 kg.

Booking Information

Required Information: At the time of booking, please provide the weight of each participant (in kg), full names of all travellers, gender, permanent address, and hotel address.
Fee Structure: The same price applies to all ages (AUD).
Weekend Bookings: Weekend tickets sell out quickly. Please request your preferred date at least 4 weeks in advance.
Timings: All timings provided are a guideline only.

Flight Ticket: Includes a 60-minute flight experience (including breakfast). If the flight is cancelled on the scheduled day, rescheduling is permitted within 12 months; refunds are not available. Flight activities may be cancelled due to weather conditions or force majeure.

Participant Requirements & Safety

Experience: No prior experience is required; this activity is suitable for beginners.
Height Requirement: Participants must be at least 120 cm tall.
Pregnancy: This activity is not recommended for pregnant women.
Fitness: Participants must be fit and well, with no significant knee, hip, or back problems, broken bones, or recent surgeries. Participants must be able to stand unassisted for 1 hour.
Children: The burner noise may be frightening for young children.
Accessibility: This activity is not suitable for strollers or wheelchairs.

What to Bring & Wear

Bring: Tripods are permitted in the basket. A small camera is recommended for convenience.

Wear:

    • Waterproof shoes

    • Clothing suitable for walking or hiking, with enclosed footwear

    • Comfortable clothing suitable for early morning ground temperatures

    • Layered clothing, as temperatures will increase after sunrise

Cancellation Policy

Free Cancellation if cancel outside 3days. No refund if cancel within 3days.
Noticed: If you would like to cancel, please kindly email us to cancel the tour at least 2 business days prior to this cancellation period. Once cancellation is confirmed, you will receive your refund within 7-28 business days.
Cancellation notification needs to be formally replied receipt by us during our office hours as acknowledgement.

    This hot air balloon was amazing. I have already been on a hot air balloon ride, but I went with my friends, and the landscape was just as beautiful, and the sunrise was just as ethereal. I do recommend bringing clothing that keeps you warm.

  2. Breakfast and sunrise was nice

    I loved flying in the hot air balloon, it felt really nice flying above everything, the sunrise was beautiful and something I will remember.

    The breakfast was good as well.

  3. Balloon flight experience

    At first, we had to wait a little bit, but then the staff (who were really kind and knew a lot about this) told us that they were trying to find the perfect spot so that we could have the best experience for balloon flight, and it was very heartwarming. The breakfast that we had after the flight was also really good, and I recommend that you bring clothing that keeps you warm, my sister had to borrow my clothing 😂

  4. 起飛當天無理取消，且堅持不肯退款

    在前一天晚上成功check in後，起飛當天，我與另外2名老人一大清早起床，且乘坐熱氣球公司的專車到peterson集合地點。

    在到達peterson集合地點後，我們再一步填寫了準備進行起飛的表格。

    可是在乘坐另一輛熱氣球公司專車前往起飛地點途中，被熱氣球公司職員通知要取消飛行，且沒有提供任何實際或合理理由，只是不停的「Sorry guys…」。惟當天一整天沒有下雨，天朗氣清，本人至今仍摸不著頭腦到底為何要取消這活動。

    本人正與客服和熱氣球公司接洽商量退款事宜。特此紀錄發生在本人且家中2名老人的不愉快事件。在此特別保留使用法律途徑追究熱氣球公司的權利。勸喻其他有意參與這活動的遊客三思。
