Departing from Sydney, this tour showcases the wines, landscapes and hospitality of the Hunter Valley. Small group sizes and a flexible itinerary allow for a more personalised experience, with a focus on boutique wineries where guests can enjoy relaxed tastings and learn about local winemaking traditions.

No two tours are exactly the same. Expert guides tailor each day from a selection of more than 80 cellar doors across the Lower Hunter Valley, creating a unique experience for every group.

A light café lunch with hot or cold options and a glass of wine is included, along with a local cheese tasting.

Wineries

Wineries visited vary from day to day and are selected based on availability, operating requirements, group sizes and special events.

Boutique wineries frequently visited include Saddlers Creek, McLeish Estate and Ernest Hill, however specific wineries cannot be guaranteed.

Guests will have the opportunity to meet passionate local winemakers and learn about the Hunter Valley's wine industry while enjoying tastings in a relaxed setting.

The tour focuses on boutique cellar doors that provide a more personalised experience and showcase the diversity of wines produced throughout the region.

Your Experience

These tours are flexible and do not follow the same winery schedule each day. The focus is on smaller, boutique wineries throughout the Hunter Valley, drawing from experience across more than 80 cellar doors in the region.

This approach is designed to create a more personalised experience, with knowledgeable and friendly guides. Small group sizes allow for greater individual attention.

Vehicles are designed for comfort and include full-height reclining seats, lap and sash seatbelts, air-conditioning, onboard TV/DVD and a fridge.

Pre-arranged pick-up is available from selected city hotels and nearby locations. The closest pick-up location and time will be confirmed at the time of booking.

Passengers must be waiting outside their agreed pick-up location approximately 10 minutes prior to departure. Do not proceed to an alternative location without prior confirmation of any change.

There is no fixed daily itinerary for this tour. Winery selection is flexible, with visits tailored by guides based on availability and conditions.

Guests may request preferences for winery styles when booking, and these will be accommodated where possible.

Visits are generally limited to boutique wineries.

Operating Days and Conditions

Tours typically operate six days per week throughout the year.

Tours do not operate on Christmas Day (25 December) or New Year’s Day (1 January).

All tours are subject to availability and minimum numbers, and advance booking is recommended.

Itineraries may change due to winery closures, staffing availability, weather conditions, seasonal variations, or other operational factors. Specific winery visits cannot be guaranteed, and suitable alternatives will be arranged where required.

Cancellation Policy

10% surcharge if change or cancel after order is placed. No refund if cancel within 7days.
Noticed: If you would like to cancel, please kindly email us to cancel the tour at least 2 business days prior to this cancellation period. Once cancellation is confirmed, you will receive your refund within 7-28 business days.
Cancellation notification needs to be formally replied receipt by us during our office hours as acknowledgement.
