Check-in
Check-in time at Fitzroy Island Resort is 3 PM, and check-out is 10 AM. For early arrivals or late departures, the resort offers convenient amenities such as bag storage, changing rooms, showers, and pool towels.
Complimentary Wi-Fi is available in the hotel reception common areas.

Fitzroy Island Resort is committed to providing accessible accommodations for all guests. The resort offers 2 Island Suites, 1 Welcome Bay Suite, and 1 Butterfly Bungalow with accessible facilities. The Fitzroy Flyer, which transports guests to the island, has ramp access, and elevators are available on the accommodation floors.

Our affordable Basic Rooms are perfect for couples or friends seeking a simple yet comfortable stay. Located at the back of the resort, these 32 sqm rooms offer peaceful rainforest views. Each room is air-conditioned and includes a queen or twin bed, a ceiling fan, a plasma TV, a small desk, an en-suite bathroom, a small fridge, tea and coffee-making facilities, lift access, and shared guest laundry facilities. Please note that the maximum occupancy is two guests.

Our spacious One-Bedroom Suites offer modern comfort and style. Located on the ground floor and level 2, these 71sqm suites feature separate dining areas and generous balconies. Each suite includes a separate bedroom with a queen bed, a kitchenette equipped with a microwave, toaster, full-size fridge, and tea and coffee facilities. Additionally, you'll find air-conditioning, ceiling fans, a plasma TV, a lounge and dining area, and an en-suite bathroom. Lift access and shared guest laundry facilities are also available. Our Two-Bedroom Suites are perfect for families or larger groups. These suites consist of an adjoining Island Suite and Resort Studio Room, sharing a common entrance. The Island Suite features a kitchenette, dining area, balcony, a separate bedroom with a queen bed, and an en-suite bathroom. The adjoining Studio offers either a queen or twin bed and an en-suite bathroom. All rooms are equipped with air-conditioning, ceiling fans, plasma TVs, en-suite bathrooms, and basic kitchen facilities, including a microwave, toaster, full-size fridge, and tea and coffee facilities. Please note that the rooms are not interconnected but adjoin through a shared breezeway. Lift access and shared guest laundry facilities are available. These suites can accommodate 4-6 guests, with extra guests sleeping on a sofa bed that may not be suitable for two adults.

The Beach Cabins offer stunning views across Welcome Bay. These cabins feature two bedrooms: a queen bedroom and a separate twin bedroom. Perfect for a romantic getaway or a family with small children, these air-conditioned cabins also include a generous balcony, a plasma TV, and tea and coffee facilities. Located right on the beach, you can step directly from your balcony onto the sand. Shared guest laundry facilities are available. Please note that these cabins can accommodate up to four guests.
Resort Facilities
Fitzroy Island Resort is the island's sole resort, offering 99 luxurious rooms completed to the highest standards in 2010. Exclusive to resort guests, the facilities include Zephyr Restaurant, a resort pool, a swim-up pool bar, a tour desk, air hockey, and a kids' playroom. Complimentary Wi-Fi is available in the hotel reception common areas.
Please note that Fitzroy Island is a licensed premises, and bringing personal alcohol onto the island is prohibited. Any alcohol brought by guests will be securely held at the resort reception until departure.
For your convenience, check-in time is 3 PM, and check-out is 10 AM. Baggage storage, changing rooms, showers, lockers, and pool towels are available for guests' use.

Our Snorkel Safari is suitable for those comfortable in the water and competent snorkellers. Total time up to 1hour ( Snorkeling time 40-50mins)
Exclusive access to areas not accessible to other guests. A small boat will drop guests and our Marine Biologist off at one of the abundant coral reefs Fitzroy Island has to offer. A great introduction to the reef with commentary. 50 minute tour Including snorkelling equipment, lycra suits and vests.(*Participants of this optional tour must have basic English communication skills and be confident in the water. For safety reasons, if you are unable to enter the water at the time of the activity, no refund will be provided.)
