Featherdale Wildlife Park is Sydney’s premier wildlife experience that's open 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, every day of the year (excluding Christmas Day). Featherdale provides a home to over 2,000 Australian native animals from more than 260 different species and is home to the world’s largest collection of Australian wildlife

  • You may experience multiple activities to do at Featherdale Sydney Wildlife Park via park program itinerary
  • There are so many Australian animals to meet so you'll want to stop for a break at the Featherdale Cafe. Listen to the Australian bird song while relaxing with a cup of tea, a light snack, or a lovely meal nestled in the gum trees!
  • Morning visits are recommended given that the animals are most awake in the early hours, but if you visit after lunch, please arrive by 15:30 to see as many of our Featherdale animal family members as possible

    • Approximately 1 hour via M1 (about 90.8 km)

  • From Wollongong:

    • Approximately 1 hour 15 minutes via Picton Rd/B88 and Hume Motorway/Remembrance Driveway/M31 (about 104.4 km)

Things to Note

  • All prices are quoted in Australian dollars and include GST.
  • What to bring:
    1L refillable water bottle, hat, sunglasses & sunscreen, appropriate all-weather clothing, evenings can get cold ie.windbreaker, comfortable walking shoes (tread closed-toe shoes), small day pack 5-7kg, money for snack and meals, camera to capture every moment!

Do your Blue Mountains tours have a lot of walking involved?

It is entirely up to you. We pride ourselves on flexible, personalised tours, so let us know what you want to do, and we’ll do our best to accommodate you! If you’re after some quick walks through the Australian bush, your guide will be able to point out some fantastic hotspots that end with breathtaking views of the Blue Mountains. If you’d rather avoid the walking component, we know plenty of easily accessible spots that are just as beautiful, and just as secluded! We want to make our tours work for you, not the other way around. 

Will I see the Three Sisters on your Blue Mountains tour?

Certainly! The Three Sisters is one of the more iconic sites of the Blue Mountains. Your experienced guides know a number of isolated lookouts that have stunning, uninterrupted views of the Three Sisters. As well as this majestic landmark, sit back and let us show you Wentworth Falls, the Jamison Valley, Echo Point, the Grose River Valley and more; there’s so much to see in the Blue Mountains!

Which days do your tours operate?

Our tours to the Blue Mountains usually run 4 days* per week (Monday, Thursday, Saturday, Sunday). Please note all tours are subject to availability and minimum number requirements; we recommend that you book well in advance to secure your place! We do not operate on Christmas Day (25 December) or New Year’s Day (1 January).

Cancellation Policy

15% surcharge if change or cancel after order is placed. No refund if cancel within 3days.
Noticed: If you would like to cancel, please kindly email us to cancel the tour at least 2 business days prior to this cancellation period. Once cancellation is confirmed, you will receive your refund within 7-28 business days.
Cancellation notification needs to be formally replied receipt by us during our office hours as acknowledgement.

NOTE: FIT TRAVEL would adopt suppliers' cancellation policy. Cancellation fees, if any by the suppliers, will be charged according to the supppliers' cancellation policy ( FIT TRAVEL does not charge additional cancellation fees ).
With this specific product's cancellation policy, the suppliers reserve the right of final interpretation.
If your order only pays the deposit of a product: a, if the product has available seats on the departure date and price and contents are the same as the order you placed, the booking would be confirmed by us without additional notification to you, and the deposit is not refundable. b, if the product has no available seats or price or contents are not the same, we might provide alternative options. If you do not agree with the options, the deposit is refundable.
